Is this an AOL pass word, if it is you have to contac AOL
If it is a Password for the unit, you have to clear the CMOS, by removing the battery from inside the unit, Un_plug the unit and removed battery let stannd for 60 second

Can't open Skype error 1712


First:

Hi please click on your apple icon top left, click on "Force Quit", then Force Quite Skype if it's in the List.

Second:

Open Your Macintosh HD, usually top right, and go to your Applications folder, find and open your "Utilities" folder, now open "Activity Monitor", now you'll see a list of items, scroll through the list, if Skype is in the list, select it then in the top left of the box click on the "Force Quit" button.

Try Skype again, if this doesn't work try option 3

Third:

Download AppCleaner open it and then at the same time open your Applications folder where place your pointer over the Skype icon, and drag onto AppCleaner, once the delete button is active, click delete. This will delete all Skype files from your system.

Now go to Download Skype for Desktop and click the "Get Skype For Mac" button, install this new version of Skype and your done.

Mac OS X 10.4.11 can't communicate with the printer. The only thing I've been able to print is the Self Test Diagnostic Page.


MPORTANT: You must follow these solutions in the order presented to resolve the issue.Solution one: Make sure that the All-in-One displays in the Print & Fax folder on your computer Follow these steps to make sure that the product is in the list of printers on your computer.On the upper-left corner of the computer desktop, click the Apple menu icon ( ), and then click System Preferences on the drop-down menu.Click Print & Fax to open the Printers list.If your product displays in the list , continue to the next solution. If your product does not display in the list , continue with these steps: Click the Plus sign ( ), select your HP product from the list, and then click Add . After a few seconds, the product displays in the Printers list. Press the Scan button on the product to try the scan again.If these steps resolved the issue , you do not need to continue troubleshooting.If the issue persists , continue to the next solution. Problem with AOL recently is that they have inserted ads in Spanish at the bottom of my mailbox and in my emails as well. Those revolving ads are supposed to be in English only. That's why AOL latino is...


I assume that you are not in Spain or any other region where Latin or Spanish is widely spoken like in South America.
That said, Check your Windows settings first,
(1)Go to Start menu.
(2) On the start menu go to control panel.
(3) In the control panel you will find Regional settings or Region and Language, in your Windows Vista.
(4) Make sure the Format, Language, Keyboard language etc has correct settings i.e.If your in United States it should reflect that because many online applications like AOL pick there settings from there.
(5)In a similar manner check as much as possible that the regional settings in other web/internet applications like hotmail and yahoo etc if you use them are correct and does not pertain to Spain or any other unwanted world regions. Just look around and explore in those applications.
(6)Restart your PC for the settings to take effect.

If this does not work then try the solution#2
Give up your account on server without loosing your contacts.
(1) Export all contacts to your computer from AOL contacts, contact management tab or the like.
(2) Save the contacts (which is usually a single and a small file) on your local machine on desktop or another secure and accessible location.
(3) Completely terminate or delete your account on the AOL.
server and make sure it happens before you go any further. This is very important.
(4) Once you confirm with AOL about your account deletion. You recreate your account with AOL all over again and be very vigilant about the information you give with the sign up form esp. the regional info.
(5)Once the account is recreated with same AOL ID as I suggest import all your contacts back into your account giving the file path inside your AOL email interface to the location in your computer by the same option you exported it. This option will be found in tabs inside you email like Contacts or Contacts management. It is quite easy!
(6) for some reason if you do not recreate your AOL ID which is highly unlikely. You can consider having another ID on AOL with a different user name and then import all your contacts there. After that create a group for all your contacts put all the contacts (of your friends, family and loved ones etc.) and send an email about the "change of your email/chat address" to that group so that they can update you information in there account.

Trouble installing my Samsung SCX-4200 printer


Good day Sir, That is common macintosh problem. There is described "driver not installed" at product List Window after you click Add and select USB. I suggest Reintall the software and make sure that you are using a high-quality cable.

Installing software Samsung scx-4200 for Macintosh
Verify the following before you install the software.
Operating System - Mac OS 10.3x or higher
RAM - 128 MB
Free Disk Space - 200MB
  1. Make sure that you connect your printer to the computer. Turn on your computer and printer.
  2. Insert the CD-ROM which came with your printer into the CD-ROM drive.
  3. Double-click CD-ROM icon that appears on your Macintosh desktop.
  4. Double-click the Mac_Installer folder.
  5. Double-click the Mac_printer folder.
  6. Double-click the Samsung SPL2 Installer icon.
  7. Enter the password and click OK.
  8. The Samsung SPL Installer window opens. Click Continue and then click Continue.
  9. Select Easy Install and click Install.
  10. After the installation is finished, click Quit.

Flip software (Flip Share) quits unexpectedly on my Mac 10.5.6

Thank you for contacting us.

We will need to try to uninstall and reinstall the FlipShare program on your Macintosh computer. To do this please try the following:

1. Please open your HD and in the search field type “3ivx”. Drag all 3ivx files into your trash can, and empty it. To uninstall FlipShare on your Mac, please go to MacIntosh HD > Library > Application > Support > Flip Video > FlipShare Uninstaller
2. Reboot the computer

If you are receiving the message, "Unable to update database file," when upgrading to FlipShare 5.6, there may be a corrupted file within your existing FlipShare database.

Please try the following to upgrade to the current version of FlipShare and import your videos into the application.


1. Copy your entire FlipShare Data folder onto your desktop or another drive
- the FlipShare Data folder can be found in "Username">Movies>Flip Share Data>
- ensure that you have copied all of the contents of the FlipShare Data folder and have secured a complete back-up of this file

2. Delete the FlipShare Data folder from your "Username">Movies>Flip Share Data>

3. Uninstall FlipShare
- MacIntosh HD > Library > Application Support > Pure Digital Technologies > FlipShare Uninstaller

4. Reboot your computer

5. Click on the link and follow the on-screen instructions to install FlipShare 5.6 onto your computer

For Macintosh systems (including Snow Leopard): http://download.theflip.com/update.theflip.com/app/fvsw/561/update/Setup_FlipShare.dmg

6. Once FlipShare 5.6 has fully installed, launch the program

7. Go to the Help directory and choose "Recover other FlipShare files..."

8. Click Proceed and select the Videos folder of the drive where you saved your FlipShare Data folder
- the FlipShare Data recovery tool will import your videos into FlipShare

I have aol and i cant open my emails. i have one specific one that is very important . i need to open it. its about a job. what do i have to do.


Try quitting your AOL application, and also try turning your computer off for awhile. Maybe AOL will reconfigure itself. Or call the AOL helpline-800-827-6364

Logitech LX8 Mouse back button quit working on AOL


This has been a long time problem with Logitech and Aol. If your mouse software allows you to edit your mouse buttons, change the back button to "keystroke" and enter the back arrow key on your keyboard as the command. Alt left arrow also works. While you don't appear to have a forward button, Aol users who do, would change it to "keystroke"...Alt right arrow.

What do i do


If images cannot be downloaded from the camera to a Macintosh, check the status of the camera and the Macintosh and resolve the problem accordingly.

1) Check the status of the camera and Macintosh.
1. Connect your camera to the Macintosh and turn the camera on.
2. Open the "Applications" folder on the Macintosh HD.
3. Double-click "Image Capture".
* If the "Imaging device not connected" message appears, follow the steps described in [Checking the connection between the camera and PC].
4. Select "Preferences" from the "Image Capture" menu.
5. The procedure for using the Image Capture Preferences window differs depending on the OS version used. Use the correct procedure for your version of Mac OS.
- Mac OS 10.4: Click "General" in the Image Capture Preferences window.
- Mac OS 10.3: Click "Camera" in the Image Capture Preferences window.
- Mac OS 10.2: Simply proceed to the next step.
6. In "Items launched at camera connection", select "FPVBridge" and then click the [OK] button.
* If FPVBridge is not among the displayed items, follow the steps in [Displaying FPVBridge] below.
7. Quit "Image Capture".

If you implement the above procedure up to step 6, FinePix Viewer launches automatically.
* To stop FinePix Viewer from launching automatically, follow the steps in [FinePix Viewer Setup] below.

2) Resolving the problem
[Checking the connection between the camera and PC]
1. Plug the USB cable into the camera and Macintosh again.
* If you are using a USB hub, do not connect the camera to the Macintosh via the hub.

[Displaying FPVBridge]
1. Select "Other".
2. Click the "Applications" folder.
3. Click the "FinePix Viewer" folder.
4. Select "FPVBridge" and click "Open".
5. Click [OK].

[FinePix Viewer Setup]
1. Launch FinePix Viewer.
2. Select "Automatic Save Settings" in the Settings menu.
3. Tick the "Auto save images when the camera is connected" checkbox in "Operation Settings When Camera Is Connected".
4. Click [OK] and close the "Automatic Save Settings" window.
5. Exit FinePix Viewer.
6. Turn the camera off and then on again to test whether FinePix Viewer launches automatically.
