Here is the manual. This is an aftermarket unit unit so there will be an inline fuse on the power wire
This one is a good diagram and shows 10 amp fuse on the yellow wire to the battery. Make sure it is connected there at the battery, but the installer may have just spliced into a live feed up behind it..
The unit does not turn on at all? No lights, no clock? I know you checked the fuse but did you check for a physical +12v on both the power wires and verify the ground is grounding? If all your wires are verified then hopefully you're still under warranty. This is a pretty low-cost unit and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. If you are getting lights etc. on the unit but no sound, chances are your internal amp transistors are blown. Not worth repairing but you can usually use the external am outputs with an amplifer to keep going.
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's service centre and get them to enter this code for you.
the fuse is in the black box tied in to the main power wire, the yellow one. open it up and the fuse is inside. if this has been cut off and your other fuses are fine, the unit did not have proper protection and probably fried from a surge or short cicuit . the fuse on the unit should be a 10 amp mini and no higher.
just hook up a vhs or dvd player from home that has tv outputs, but you would need a power inverter for the power supply of the vhs, then put the vhs audio and videos outputs to the dual's input: the auxiliars. make sure the vhs has channel changing.
