Question about John Deere 420,1020,2010,2020,2510,2520 Tractor Float
I just got a new riding mower. It started up fine in the shed. I quickly turned it off, and then rolled it literally 8 feet out of the shed, down the ramp, and into the yard.
Then I sat back on it tried to start it, and it would not start up. I studied the manual a million times. It appears that I am doing everything correct. The break is engaged. The choke is up. The key turns and sounds like it is about to start. But it doesn't.
Battery is fine, as the lights go on.
Thanks for any help!
If it was already running never put it back into choke position just leave it in run position and try to crank it. It sounds like it was just flooded that time. Let it sit for a while and try try again. I am sure you do not have anything wrong at this time. Next time though if it is running leave it running and back it out by it's power that's why you bought it right, my first thought was why you pushed it out, anyway that's just me. Good Luck PAL
