Lens Error Message 10f, 1, 0, 0

My camera was working just fine the other day. I took it out on Easter to take pictures of my kids, the camera came on, the lens came out, then it told me Lens error 10f, 1, 0, 0 and shut itself off. I thought maybe the battery was low so I recharged and still not work. I turn it on and it shuts itself right off again. Any Suggestions?

I've had my camera for a couple of months now and it was just working fine untill today.

All of a sudden i go to take a pic and the same thing happened.

the lense is halfway out and it says lense error 122,1,0,0.

Has anyone found out what to do yet?

    Is it fixable?

Or should i just get a new camera?

And if i get a new camera will kodak help pay?

Does anyone know if there is a Kodak place i can send it in to?

IT would be wonderful if someone could help with any of these questions.

    thank you.

I have the same problem with my camera. Each time I call Kodak though, nobody ever seems to answer...I get put on hold forever. I was just taking a picture, as I always do, and it just turned off, and my shutter would not go back in place. When I tried turning it back ok, it said, "Lens Error 1 of, 1, 0, 0." So, if anyone has a solution that was be great :)

Well, I had to send mine in for repairs, because it appears that once you get a lens error, such as 1 of has to be fixed professionally. I tried to take mine apart and see if I could blow out any dust that may have gotten into it, then I got scared that I was going to break it :) Luckily, I haven't owned the camera for a year yet, so I am still under factory warranty. If you have owned yours for less than a year I would suggest you do the same. If not, then I'm sorry :(

FEE error message

To get rid of the pesky fEE just set your lens to f22 or f16 ( depending on what lens you have ) and that is all. You might also want to lock this setting in ( if it is a Nikon lens then the lock is on the side just above the lens aperture ring.

Lens error

This may be related/helpful: My S3 in normal home use (no sand, wet or shock) just now displayed the ?Lens cover error? message, with cover only half open. Using a tooth pick I ?eased? it gently and it popped open, took a few trial pictures- fine, but would not fully close unless eased. Now will open and close slowly on own but error message blocks camera use. Then spotted cause - a loose thin sliver of silver trim from below flash around (there?s a gummy substance where it should be). When I first saw one end of this it was between the lens cover and the camera body as tho part of the mechanism, so I did not touch it. Now I know it?s jamming the lens cover operation is it OK to open the camera case to get it out? Questions: (a) Has anyone done this please? (b) Will this clear error message? Thanks.
