Brother mfc420cn I got my son's all in one but he couldn't find the cd to download the software. Is there somewhere on line I can get the drivers to run this machine?

go to Brother's website to download the driver, then run the driver and you will be good to go.

No, I suspect that this is Brother's proprietary code.

It is up to the manufacturer to continue with the development of code to support the newer operating systems. If Brother has announced a driver for printer then they should release code for any ancillary programs to allow the printer to work properly.

If Brother is telling you that they have no plans to fully support their product under Win 7 and the printer is fairly new then I would start with a corporate complaint letter.

You can go to the manufacturers website and download the software utility from there. Also you can go to www.download.com and search for the same and then download from there.

goto www.brother.com and look for the model of the printer , or go to google and type in printer driver for the model printer that u need

www.brother.com choose your country and your mfc. download whole mfl-pro driver suite

just download the drivers from the website www.brother.com then click Printers/ Fax Machines/ DCPs/ Multi-functions then choice the language then click then click drivers then select your OS then select again the language then clik search at the botton then download now you can burn it for the future use
