Kenmore 110.82822102 Electric Dryer runs but no heat.

I think the heating element went bad. Depending on your driers layout, you might have to remove the drum assembly to gain access to the heating element. Once drier drum assembly is removed, check and see if there is 220 volts going to the heating element. If there is, heating element is bad, if no voltage detected, the switch in the control panel is faulty. If you're not comfortable trying to check this out on your next step, I don't blame you. A qualified appliance technician would be the better answer especially working around 220 volts. Hope this works out for you.

You either have :
-A bad heating element
-A bad thermal cut-off
-Thermostat
OR
-A bad fuse.

No heat, but dryer turns.

There are three common causes of a dryer not heating. First is a busted heating element. Second, the thermal cut-off has blown. Third, the high limit thermostat is not working.

Disconnect power to the machine and remove the screws at the bottom of the lower front access panel (toe panel) holding it in place. Pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You now have access to the heating circuit.

Remove the heater shield by removing its mounting screw and pulling it off the heater housing.

The heater terminal block is located at the left opening of the heater housing. Disconnect the wire from one of the heater terminals and measure the resistance of the heating element using an ohmmeter set to X1. The resistance should read 7.8 -11.8 ohms. Replace the heating element if the resistance reads open.

Disconnect the wires from the terminals of the heating element and remove the screw securing it to the heater housing. Slide the busted heating element out of the housing and install the new heating element. Secure it with the screw and put the terminal block in place. Connect the heater wires and reinstall the heater shield.

Slide the lower front access panel up into the cabinet and secure it with the screws.

hello there:
here is some troubleshooting ideas for you to help
A dryer sometimes won't heat or heats too slowly because of a variety of reasons. By following the guidelines below, you can inspect the heating elements on a gas or electric dryer to pinpoint the source of the problem.
Electric heating elements, found in electric dryers, are self-contained units located in the back of the dryer. A defective heating element is frequently the source of no-heat or drying problems. Remove the back service panel to gain access to the elements.
The heating elements are located inside the heater ducts. If you think a heating element is faulty

Electric kenmore 90 series working but no heat?

Most likely that is the heat element. Some dryers have the element in the front but most of the time yours can be accessed from the rear.

Dryer blows cold air but no heat

The heating element is in the back of the dryer. Sometimes there is a small access panel that will allow you to check the terminals to the heating element. You will need an ohm meter or multimeter to check.

Kenmore Elec Dryer Won't Heat up

Sounds like either a faulty thermostat or heating element. Both are accessed from the lower right backside of the dryer behind a metal door. Be CAUTIOUS, the edges can be sharp and cut you very easily. Good luck.
