Is your machine an FAV6800A or FAV9800A? Sorry to ask but so many post are not those types. Are you failing in Spin Cycle with unbalance errors like dC or UC? Are you failing with an error code like ND for No Drain? Lets confirm the model number and I will see if I can help......Rich

Have not heard back about the clarification request. Your in the Neptune FAV6800AW Top Load Washer so I'll post some pics of my FAV6800A with the fornt cover removed. This is a series 17 machine I picked up on ebay and refurb (Clutch Maintenance no parts required).

won't drain - 4574d3e.jpg

This a pic of my Series 10 machine I have the Outer Tub removed for a recent Out Tub bearing replacement and Spinner Assembly bearing replacement. It will show the Motor Controller on the left and the Drain Pump/Drain Line and the pressures switch sitting on top of the Drain Pump on the right.

If you have questions any and all issues with the machine just post back.

Check your drain hoses and drain pump. You'll also need to tilt the unit backwards and access the drain pump and clear out the coin trap.

Washer Control Locked blinking and won't washer won't work

Water still in the bottom of the drum. Empty, clean filter and check pump is turning. Once pressure switch is satisfied no water is left it'll allow the door to open, assuming the door interlock is still ok.

Could be a problem with the SD card contents being corrupt, open with your pc via an adapter and back up the files, then format it on your phone. And add all the music/pictures/videos that you had previously back.

Machine stopped mid cycle, won't spin or did not drain, no error code displayed, tried unplugged and restart. no luck

next time send the model number, open the door, look around the opening where you put the clothes in and you'll see a tag with the model and serial numbers,it has to drain first before it will spin, check the pump, get a shop vac and vac out all the water, remove the bottom panel and look at the pump,if the middle of the pump can be removed turn it counter clockwise slowly until the water starts to leak out and vac it up until all the water is out, then remove the middle part of the pump and clean it out,if the middle doesn't come out remove the hoses and check the pump to see if anything is in it and check the hoses, after you remove any debries you find fill it with some water and put it into a drain to see if the water drains,if it doesn't you can check the pump again to make sure you cleaned everything out, stick your finger in and fell around the impellar to make sure it's clear,if it's clear replace the pump.usually an error code will come up but if it fills and agitiates but won't drain i would start at the pump.hope this helps.

Hi my F &P dishdrawer unit (DD603) won't drain

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Wash cycle stops and light on the extra dirty symbol lights up

This is might be the drain filter. When the drain filter is clogged, the machine won't empty itself of water.

Candy has a troubleshooting webpage that lists many possible problems/solutions:

http://service.candy-domestic.co.uk/fault-finder/FaultFinder.aspx?Section=11

If you do try to check the filter, keep in mind that opening the drain filter will yield gallons of water on your floor, especially if your machine does not have the drain hose next to the filter opening. You'll need to have some way of transferring the water ready before opening the filter.

Good luck from Detroit, MI.

The door won't open, clothes are washed inside

Hi,

Welcome to FixYa.

You'll likely be happy to know the door can be opened manually, see below for instructions. Watch for lots of water if it hasn't drained though, obviously.

NOTE; Usually if the door won't open it's due to the unit not draining sufficiently so I must ask, have you checked the pump to insure the filter isn't clogged, or do you know where it is and how to check it ?

In the event the pump, filter or hose is clogged or obstructed, will prevent the door lock from releasing.

This is by design, but it's easy to confirm or dismiss.

Check as follows...

macmarkus_23.jpg

Let me know if any of this isn't clear and I'll attempt to help you move forward by way of trying to post these in a larger/blown-up image.

Once you've cleared the pump filter or ruled out it was indeed blocked or not, you can now pull the manual door lock release located in the same area.

Let me know how you make out. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck. Please take a moment to rate the info provided for you here today at FixYa.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

We had a short in the wiring where the dishwasher plugs into the wall. After fixing the wiring, the dishwasher now has a message "OE" when I turn it on.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error OE in your LG dishwasher is a drain error, which is displayed when the unit won’t drain out in spite of 5 minutes drain operation. To resolve this issue you’ll need to check the drain hose for any blockages, also check the wiring connection to the pump. If still the issue is not resolved then you’ll have to replace the drain pump/motor. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee
