In the Toughbook CF-18 model, is it possible to upgrade the graphics/video card? If so, how is this done?

No, the video chip is an onboard one, part of the northbridge chip of the motherboard. If the video has failed the entire motherboard will have to be replaced.

I installed windows xp pro and i have no sound cf-50 toughbook CF-50BB2NUDM I`ve tried Realtek and the panasonic sound driver download site nothing has worked so far.

Have you check Device Manager and under sound, video and game controllers to see if you have any yellow ? marks next to anything. You would go to start-control panel-system-hardware-device manager.
If you have any yellow marks missing then you will need to find the driver for those.
It may be a codec that you need too.
Also Start/ control panel/ Sounds check that MUTE is not selected and that volume is UP.
Could be these drivers that you need Audio Output: Sound card Audio Codec: STAC9751 Compliant Standards: AC '97.
Check this site and make sure you have the complete model number, There are several different ones for your Cf51 that should look like this CF-51xxxxA/H/Qxx (mk1) . Some model numbers require that you have Sevice Pack 2 or SP2 for windows installed for the sound driver to work.

CF-WMBA5512
512MB Memory Card , supports your notebook , it is very easy , just open the back side cover where memory is residing , press the hook by your finger on the memory chip , it will easily open , and change or upgrade . By the way this model is absolute , very difficult to get the new memory .

Err CF then Err 99 - Canon Rebel XT / Hitachi 4GB Mircodrive

Nope, this is not card anymore.

As you know CF is card failure, sometimes this cause to start error 99 , that is lens error , even if there is no problem with the lens.

This happens because the built in software in the camera can get messed up after an error CF.

You fix the problem calling Canon, they will guide through upgrading the firmware in your camera.

First ensure that you are using the camera menu and command to format the new card, and that new cards are properly inserted into the machine.

Call Canon support to get a firmware upgrade.

Hi I loaded a game on my laptop and it says that the video card isnt big enough. Is there a way I can upgrade it?

hi my name is Ztek.

yes there is a way of upgrading your video card.
you can purchase a better or bigger video card for your dektop as long as it fits in your case.
you can purchase a better video card at your local computer hardware store or the bigger hardware corporations in your area.

depending on wich game there is usually a list of requirements for the specific game on the back of the case.

hope it helped and good luck gaming my friend =)
