Question about Ricoh Aficio CL3500N Laser Printer
I noticed that when printing with my Ricoh CL3500N color laser printer that I am having a problem with my black output. I typed 4 rows of 8s for red, blue black, and yellow. Only my black rows have approximately 10 columns of faded output staring about a quarter of the way across the page. The fading starts out as slight and gets worse as you go further across the page. Of the approximate 10 column width the, columns 7-9 are the worse, with one column barely visible. Ther are no warning or error messages displayed on my printer.
Your toner cartridge is probably getting low. Toner is actually a powder, and it can get settled during shipments, bringing it home, etc etc.
Take out the black toner and give it a gentle side-to-side shake a few times and pop it back in.
That should help.
