Question about Kodak 5300 All-in-One InkJet Printer

We purchased a Kodak all-in-one printer on the 21th of this month from Target and had it installed a coupled days ago. We have had a problem with it printing. The black ink isn't printing completely and the blue ink won't print at all. The lady who installed it said she thinks the cartridges are dried out. We took the cartridges back to the store and ask them to replace them but they wouldn'd. They don't have any more printers on hand at this time and don't know when they will have another one in. Would you please send me the 2 replacement cartriges

Hi, your best course of action is to approach kodak customer care ( my mother worked with them ) directly and explain your problem , please keep any proofs of purchase handy as they will want copys etc

If you get a working print head, run a test print every 3 days or so. I do this on a regular basis to keep the ink from drying out and have yet to have a clogged head using this method. Before replacing the head a couple of months ago, I did not do this and after a week and a half, the head clogged beyond the capacity of the printer to self-clean.

I want to find the description of a kodak printer that i bought on ebay a couple of month ago.


On purchases page you can choose on show: "archive" it will show you purchases at least two years ago , although you will not be able to see the item page a short description of the item should be present (item name, item number and etc.)if you are looking for the item page you should try checking if the seller still sells items like you the one you bought.

I have an all-in-one Kodak ESP 3250 printer. Bought it 4 months ago. I'm interested in printing only in black, but now the color cartridge has emptied and it won't let me print with the black cartridge...


The KODAK All-in-One Printer uses an advanced built-in printhead. The system is designed to provide excellent image and text quality, while eliminating the need to purchase new printheads every time you replace ink cartridges, and saving you money. The printing system requires that both the black and color ink cartridges be installed to print. If either cartridge is not installed or is out of ink, the printer or printhead will not print correctly.


Install the color a new cartridge, avoid damage to the print head.

and you go control panelt and select the printer an dchous this printer
and restart your pc and try printing giveup page

Make sure the wireless LAN of your computer is set to AdHoc mode if the Printer is set to that function.

Colours are 'washedout' even though new cartridges


You need to clean the heads. Most inkjet printers come with a utlity that does this and then prints out a page to check to see if you were successful. It make take a couple of tries to get it to work.

Kodak 5100 will not print consistently


I am currently having the same problem with a 17" iMac Intel Core Duo.  The printer worked fine for a few months, now it will only print in black and white and sometimes in color that is extremely faded.  I have tried every troubleshooting tip in the book and still no luck.

That's an error with the ink. Try updating the firmware on the printer. Here is the link to the latest firmware from the Kodak website.
