It could be as simple as the cable/ video & sound plugs just don't have a good connection on the inside. don't know how much that might cost.

7inch vertical color lines right side of screen all th time

Hi.

This website has the service manual ($7.79) with instructions to diagnose the boards. Unfortunately I am afraid that the problem is not a board but the panel itself.

Thin vertical lines in the middle of the picture mean that the panel is gone. Here an example of lines from bad panel in Toshiba LCD:Line Picture. (discussion: Avsforum). Sometimes the lines can be dark or in bright color.

The panel costs $339 (LCD PANEL ASSY).

Because of the price of the panel, the TV is not worth repairing unless under warranty.

Even if the TV is out of warranty call Toshiba and report the problem. As you can see in AVSforum page above the problem is affecting many users.

If Toshiba doesn't offer special conditions on repair (or discount on new), the TV is not worth repairing. Replacement of the digital board will hardly be a solution.

Only if you have wide bands, scrambled or flickering, then the problem is digital board (main board) or panel. If you have the thin pixel lines, then the panel is gone.

Fpi need a webcam for my laptop c655 toshiba which one will i buy that will work with it

Hello fpat2479,

The C655 does not have a webcam built into its LCD bezel (case). But there are many webcams that should work on the C655. The TigerDirect.com website offers many webcams in a variety of price ranges. Most of these should work ok on the Toshiba C655:

If this solution is helpful please click a thumbs-up rating.

I have a 57 in toshiba rear projection, picture just started jumping and went out, if you put it on another imput for gaming the picture is there but is rounded and is jumpy could you tell me what is wrong...

Possibly not repairable, because many problems are related to a board called the "hyper" board, which is mostly no longer available.-- Most picture problems other than convergence or a bad tube, which doesn't sound like yours.

Toshiba 32AF13 television

Hi there!
It may very well be the High Voltage circuit. However, It can be the vertical or video section as well, but cost wise about the same. If cost of repair exceeds more than half the price of a new set, and considering the age, rather replace. Good luck,JUS004

No Picture - No Sound - Pilot lite OK - hear speakers 'blip' when turned on

Toshiba did have a problem with a protection ic that would fail. It is possible that this is the problem. But some trouble shooting will need to be done buy a repair shop.

WEGA KF50WE610 50 no red color

Hello ml707,

This could be a problem with the red video driver circuitry or the signal processor. The $1000.00 price range is rather steep, I say this because you can buy one of these sets for $1400.00 used from:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0000E3DQE/ref=dp_olp_2/104-4293379-3459139

It is possible (the $1000.00 repair price) depending on if the lens is at fault along with other factors, Take into mind this is an LCD projection TV and the lens in this case is to focus the picture from the LCD screen onto the projection screen

I hope this helps,
