Question about Televison & Video
I believe in your earlier post you identified your TV as the JVC AV-56WP74. What you need to do to properly adjust the picture display is to first go to the following website to download the service manual for free:
It is a multipart rar file. Download all of the parts and then use a free program like Winzip or Winrar to unpack the file. You will end up with a bunch of jpg files which are all of the schematics for the TV. There will also 4 pdf files. The file called 52105.pdf is the actual Service Manual. Go to page 1-48 in the manual. Item 126.96.36.199 describes how to put the TV into adjustment mode. Just follow the flow chart and you will be able to adjust the sides of the picture until it looks normal.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
