C-OF36 means that the mahine is not getting black toner properly. Specifically the service manual says:
"Abnormally low toner density detected by Black ATDC Sensor. Toner density that is 2% or more lower than the target level is detected ten consecutive times during a print cycle, ATVC, or image stabilization sequence."
What this means in simpleterms is that the machine is trying to add black toner and is not getting it.
Have you tried turning the machine off then back on to reset the code and see if the machine can add the required toner?
I would try this a few times. If it does not work then you will need someone to come out and service it because there are numerous causes for this condition and most are going to require dis-assembly of components to locate the problem.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fxya!

My HL 2270DW won't stop printing goobldegook. One or so lines on each page, and the printer job does not show in the cue so it can not be cancelled. I can not print any jobs because of this malfun

Has it worked before? Many of these newer printers can print what are called Postscript documents, and you may have a Postscript driver instaled instead of the regular driver, or both and have selected the wrong driver when sending the job ORyou have an internal circuit board that'sgone bad

The gauge in my yamaha fz6 2006 is blinking, the manual says there is a electrical circuit problem. I check all the ligths nad fuses and they seem in order, what else could it be?

I believe you count the amount of blinks to read the codes. First blinks are first number, and second set of blinks are second number. Chaz Moto DC

Try stopping the print spooler service and canelling all the documents.

The Windows Print Spooler is a Windows XP "Service". You can start/stop it via the following steps:
  1. Click on the Start button
  2. click on Run
  3. enter "services.msc" without the quotes and press Enter
  4. Scroll down to Print Spooler
  5. Single-Click on Print Spooler
  6. The details will open in the middle of the window.
    • It probably shows Start -- if so, Start it.
    • If it shows Stop and Restart, I suggest Stop it, then Start it.

You need a service guy to stop by. Resetting the machine is a temporary solution only. Service will be able to print reports and see where the issue lies if it goes beyond just fixing a part.
