Question about Televison & Video
Hi,It seems the problem it is with the ballast. The ballast is the board that powers the lamp and it's the one who sends you the lamp message. The ballast has a sensor that it detects when lamp is not responding or when ballast is not able to provide enough power to light up,that's when you get the red lamp indicator.Usually clicking or ticking noises are it's major symptoms. Here's a video that will help you replace it : http://www.fixyourdlp.com/guides/samsung/bp47-00033a.php Your part # is BP47-00022A You can find it here: http://www.samsungparts.com/Products/Parts_and_Accessories/PID-BP47-00022A.aspx This is a very simple fix and less expensive than the lamp, good luck and have a bless one!
