Reduce the display settings on the secondary monitor, set them low or to the natives of the external monitor.

This is more than likely an issue with the monitors themselves. Does this happen on the main monitor is you move the secondary cable over to it? What kind of monitors are you using, how old are they, and do you know the refresh rates on them?

Second display shows only blue blank screen but I can see the pointer

This is an extended display. You can move open windows, icons, or folders over to the second screen. This is called a dual-monitor setup. You can also set the second monitor to duplicate what your primary monitor is showing.

Hello ghinea18, sorry you can't do that because this will cause hardware conflict, that's why motherboard bios automatically disable integrated graphics if you install video card using pci express x16 slot - Nvidia GeForce 7300SE. do you know if your video card has dual vga or dual dvi connection?

You can try dual display, im not sure if this card supports dual monitors because nvidia online specs does not show full specs on 7300se series. \

Good Luck!

DUAL MONITOR SHOWS VIDEO ON BOTH

Are you using Windows XP or Vista?

Anyway, you can set the screen properties easily.

On your Desktop, Right-click it and then choose properties. On the tabs, locate Settings. You should be number 1 and 2 there. If your secondary monitor is number 2, there is a small checkbox below those windows and check the box Extend my Windows Desktop onto this monitor. Click number 1 again and then check USE THIS DEVICE AS PRIMARY MONITOR. Apply the settings and then click Ok.

If the above works, congratulations. :)
If not, please do not hesitate to post back so that I can assist you further.

Yes, they both will act independently if you choose to use it that way or they will show the same picture, one is a DVI output and the other is VGA. Use the ATI’s CATALYST software suite provides the ultimate software required to enjoy the full acceleration of your ATI Graphics Accelerator card. You can use it to separate your Primary video from your Secondary video.

open up the Nvidia control panel and identify monitors. Then run the multiple display wizard that should help you get both monitors working.
or
Move application window to the monitor you want it to be displayed on, close he application and reopen it.

Monitor goes blank after showing XP logo screen (black screen with the xp logo right after boot up screens)

There are different reasons why this might happen. Let's try some. 1.) Does your board have an onboard video card, cause if it does, then XP might be using that as the primary monitor. TRy plugging into the onboard video when you start up! If that works then you need to disable the onboard video.(try disabling it in bios!) if not then 2.)When booting at the select xp or recovery console, press F8. You'll get the menu with safe mode and what not. Go down to Enable VGA Mode then press enter. If that works, go to display settings and lower your resolution then restart. But usually when this happens your monitor says "Out of Range" but u can still try Well if that doesn't work, tell me more! Regards, Armando
