SOURCE: No air pressure past 60PSI on a 125PSI Campbell Hausfield WL61110

Your comperssor is oilless type and suffers from short cylinder / piston life. When the compressor no longer reaches cycle pressure the cylinder / piston should be replaced. These parts are available at www.chpower.com I believe that the part number is wl210300aj. Not expensive, enjoy.

SOURCE: My craftsman air compressor model 919 16737 1.1 hp

Probably the check valve has failed. It apparently is where the pipe goes into the tank from the compressor.

SOURCE: air compressor will only build up to about 20 psi?

It's probably a broken head gasket. I had the same problem with mine. A new gasket fixed it. You can even go to the auto parts store and buy gasket and make your own for about $6.

My ssrxpe60 ingersoll rand compressor is giving a high air pressure alarm and shuts down

I may be missing something here but typically a SSR is a rotary screw machine.XPE 60 is the model. It probably has a controller of some type for this person to know its shutting down on high air pressure alarm. So as the previous person kindly said don't give advise on something you know nothing about before you get some one hurt or killed!!!!
To answer the question. You may have a pressure transducer bad but most likely you have a minimum pressure check valve stuck in the closed position. When the compressor starts air pressure in the separator tank builds. At approximately 65 Psi the MPCV opens and allows air to the after cooler and out into the system. If the MPCV doesn't open the air pressure in the separator tank becomes to high. You then get the high pressure alarm and the unit shuts down.
Make sure the air pressure is zero, electrical disconnected and discharge line isolated from system. Once done you should be able to unscrew the aluminum cap on the check valve. Be extra careful due to spring tension. It should loosen as the cap is removed. If the parts inside are very corroded or you are unable to remove the cap you may have to replace the complete valve. If able to disassemble clean and purchase a rebuild kit for your MPCV if available.

Charge air pro model ir330e20 builds pressure to only 60 psi and will not stop running

Cbillgreene:

Your compressor is leaking air somewhere between the compressor head and the tank. With the compressor running, feel carefully around the ends of the tube that leads from the compressor head to the air tank. You will probably feel some air leaking around one end or the other. If so... remove the tube and find out which packing has failed.

My oil temp has gone from the ave of 140 to 152 in about a week. everthing else is normal

check oil level in unit as over full will over heat oil. It is possible that there is a failing bearing or bush. Check outlet pipes for blockages from carbon build up from un burnt sump oil.

My four-year old PC pancake compressor starts fine but only builds up 60 psi no matter how I adjust the pressure regulator. The compressor motor runs continuously. I checked for air leaks and can't find...

First take off the head on the air pump and check the reed valves on the valve plate. If they got hot and warped or cracked they'll work to a point then no more pressure can be built up. Next check the pistion ring and cylinder wall. If either is damaged you'll only get so much pressure build-up then it will leak past the piston.

You have one or more valves broken in the head and need to be replaced, and Quincy compressors require a special tool to remove and install valves.

Compressor won't kick back on when its suppose too

The tank check valve is probably bad. Folow the large discharge line off the head, disconnecting one end of it. If you get air out of the line you have a bad check valve. If you don't get air you are probably looking at a valve job.
