RV Dometic AC Comfort Control Double EE Problem

We have two AC units mounted on the roof of our RV controled by a 5 button Comfort Control (CC). This 5 button CC was installed in September '07 along with two new boards on the roof AC units, this replaced an older 4 button Comfort Control unit. We are now unable to get our 5 button CC to turn on our AC units. We've checked and have 12V at the CC and checked the AC units on the roof and they have 12V. We even switched the boards on the roof AC units trying to get at least one unit working. We've reset the CC and get a FF message then EE. We purchased a second CC unit and are getting the same error messages. We had a factory authorized tech look at the sytem and he was unable to solve the problem. The model # for the AC units is 620315.321 we need a manual and any suggestions on how to fix our problem or additonal troubleshooting ideas. Thanks. Our email address is [email protected].

I have a dometic duo-therm. The unit works great and fan blows strong and both high and low work., but air is coming out of the ceiling unit rather than the duct work. The bedroom unit works OK, but the air is strong out of one duct, and not much comes out of the others. The front unit only has air coming out on the A/C unit and none out of the ducts.

Duo therm ac in my rv quit when the converter burned up does the ac need 12v to work?

there is a fuse located under the shroud on the roof AC on a circuit board that controls the thermostat to turn on the power to the Air Conditioner replace it it is marked F-1 or, on some F-2 etc.
the air conditioner works on both DC voltage for the thermostat and AC voltage for the compressor

not likely but possible. if they already had one bad board what's to say their production methods have changed since they made your last bad board. I have just had 6 bad compressors from this chinese company danfoss in one month! for only 2 freezers i have installed 3 bad compressors in each! nobody takes pride in production anymore they want the stuff to break.

There appears to be a problem with the thermostat/control panel. It won't turn on/off with out removing power. Once turned on, cannot adjust temp or mode or anything.

What type of Thermostat is this? If it is a Comfort Control Center, four or five button, then turn off the thermostat, hold down the mode and zone buttons at the same time and turn the tstat back on. When EE appears on the screen, then release the button and see if it begins to work. If not, then we need to check the control unit in the AC. Hopefully it is just a simple reset.

Both roof top units on RV cool for awhile the go off

May be low voltage problem or bad connection this may cause controller to shut one or both down. Need to talk to RV dealer for assistance on this system.

13500 dometic ac for rv with anilog thermostat

My Unit is only about 5 years old; but it's working great now. I spoke to a man at an RV service department, he suggest replacing the thermostate and Jay box, which is the box inside my roof unit, accessable when I remove the filter. When I replaced the thermostate nothing changed, but the Jay box did the trick. The Jay Box came with a new thermostate anyway, and cost around $80. Good Luck

I have a dometic dou therm roof mount a/c model number 59136.331 with a comfort control center 3109228.001. I get an error code ee and have no information as to what this code is this is the only thing...

The thermostat needs to be reset. Turn it off and hold the top and bottom buttons in at the same time and turn the thermostat on. In a few seconds will read FF and you should be good to go.
