Top draw won't close completely

The top draw won't close completely-doesn't seem to slide shut the last few centimetres like it used to-it will still run if nyou hold it closed and then turn it on, there are no obvious dishes/utensils etc stuck

Probably a blockage behind the drawer. If its an older model, the bracket that holds the hoses away from the drawer were apparently designed to fail and there is a retrofit replacement kit available if that is your problem.

Why does the detergent drawer of our Asko W6021 refuse to open or close easily?

It probably needs cleaning. Best thing to do when you pull it out, is to release the conditoner tray at the sides, or find out how to remove it completely. It should come out for cleaning - you may find a build up of sludge at the back that is preventing it from opening and closing properly. Clean off using just water and a little vinegar and put back in. You should find that it opens and closes easily after that.

Power cannot be turned on. led display not on

Check that the draws are closing properly and evenly , there is a door sensor just inside the frame top and bottom on the right side .

If thr machine is not level the doors can slide forward.

if this does not work , feel if the draw really locks in when closed because at the back of the draw slides on each side are two plastic lock mechanisms. when the draw has been out they need to be upwards facing so when closed thy lock the slides in on both sides . Sometimes thy only lock in one side causing it not to deactivate the door sensors and shut down .

Yes it sounds simple, but most problems i have found are

Freezer door stays ajar after closing the refrigerator door.

The lower hinge on each door may have a door closing cam. It raises the door up ¼ inch when opening and this assist in closing the door. If it’s wore out and doesn’t work the door may not seal and the gasket can be damaged. Watch the operation of the door to see if it rises up when opened.

Leave the door shut and let the magnetic gasket hold the door in place. Put something between the bottom of the door and the floor to hold it in case it slips.
Remove the bracket holding the pin and hinge assembly taking note of order of removal of parts. Slide new cams on. You probably need two.
