Question about Boating
I have a 2007 Suzuki four stroke outboard and cannot get the starter to engage. It has power from the key but will not engage starter. I bought a new relay and that didnt do the trick (although there seems to be of the same relays). any ideas? where is the neutral safety swith?
There is a neutral safety switch, also one thing I found is carbon build up inside the starter will stop it cold. Take and air gun to it and blow it out, (try it, It might get it,) if not, take it down to see what is wrong with it. The safety switch should be a micro switch on the shifter, a couple wires going to it. Check it out. Hope this helps.
