reinstall the drivers from the cd with the printer disconnected from the computer and after that is done reconect and reboot .

What you can do is try to clean your printer with the air blower if you have or you can also use your vaccum cleaner but be carefull keep some distance and blow the air as it has lot of pressure. apart from that try reinstalling the printer drivers. This might fix your problem.
