As you can see from my printout from the web site, this laptop doesn't appear to support more than 2Gb of RAM.

This means that you will have to replace the 512 MB memory module already installed in your laptop, & replace it with 2 soDIMM DDR2 533/667 MHz memory modules, each of 2 GB capacity.

So is it just the screen blanking out or the whole machine? Do an=y of the caps lock leds work?
Does it occur with the power supply plugged in...eliminating the battery as a cause of problem.
