if you've got any knowledge of takin these type of things apart then here goes. undo the six fixing screws (if it outs of warrenty that is).

what you'll see is a main board and a little pcb boad attached to the back in which the rca's are connected to. remove the screws that hold this in place and with a set of long nosed plyers gentlely close the plastic lugs so you can remove it ( also remove all wires as to remove it compleatly) if you look on this little board you will see 2 black chips that are next to each other. the 1 that stands out the tallest out of the pair CHECK IT FOR DRY JOINT (solder split ) as that 1 normally becomes loose and can move about (re solder it) and replce back. now on the main heat sink unit you have 2 amp chips. remove the screws and clean all heat sink compound. put new compund on and screw back ( these dont need removel if your gentle. replace the cover and see what it does

    best of luck

According to Technics reference manual, turn the unit off, unplug for a few, plug in, turn unit on. Consult your "dealer"(authorized repair person, i guess) if light remains on. But doesn't say what f70 means, or associated with.
Unplug and open up the unit, and check the internal fuses on the circuit board. Also check for proper speaker wire hook up. Re-seat the connections. Visibly check the speaker wire runs for shorts, cracked casing, cat/dog chewing. etc.

Hope this helps.

Its showing F70 error on display. Only workd on DVD mode, when i turn it on any other mode it just shows F70, switch power off. All fuses are ok, no any visibly damaged components

The fuse is a part of the problem it is for safety measures
the problem is in between the power supply regulators, capacitors and power amplifier circuit board.
usually a regulator or an output transistor can cause this error.
hope this helps.

Can anyone tell me what an F70 code is? When I push the start button it beeps at my twice and then in about 30 seconds I get a long beep and the error code F70 is on the display. Thanks in advance for your...

Hi,

F70 error code indicates Central control unit heartbeat failure. If a Central Control Unit Heartbeat Failure is displayed, no communication is detected from the Central Control Unit to the User Interface.
1. Check for continuity of the User Interface harness.

2. Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the Central Control Unit.

3. Replace User Interface if drum is rotating.

4. Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving

Thank you !!

F70 problem

Look up "Panasonic F70 error" on Google and you will find plenty of discussion about this problem.

The F70 is a blown fuse error. It looks like you can can the fuse yourself, if so inclined, otherwise send it to a service agent.
