Little Tykes brand, airplane teeter totter, broke from base

Little Tykes brand, airplane teeter totter, has seats for 1 to 3 kids, up and down motion and spins around. The plane has broken from the base. Kid love this toy, seems to be no way to repair. Need ideas to create a way to use the plane, as a teeter totter again, or as a spinner. Thought of attaching rope and having it swing or just hang, but we don't have anything to hang it on, or room in play area to hang it. Any ideas from creative experts?

SOURCE: replace parts on ride-on toys

The gearboxes for both hummers and peg perego gators are under the back seat.
If you hear a clicking noise It is definatly the gearbox on the gator. The hummer gearboxes sometimes come loose from the motors, so it may be as simple as tightning the motor gearbox.
Here is how you take the gearboxes out from the gator.
1. disconnect battery
2. take hinge pins out from the dump bed to access the green cover plate.
3. take a flathead screwdriver and pry around the plastic cover to expose the gearboxes.
4. take the rear wheels off and remove the rear axle.
remove the motor gearboxes (they are interchangeable)
5. install the new gearboxes making sure the wires are secure and the wheels are going in the correct direction.
6. put back together.
7. hook up battery and your good to go!
If you have any problems are questions you can contact these guys at http://www.shopjandl.com/kids---baby-ride-on-toys-peg-perego-switches-and-shifters.html.
They have a toll-free number and are very smart when it comes to these peg perego ride on toys.

When it is started up out of the water runs fine. Put it in the water starts fine but when you go to accelerate it boggs down and sound like one cylinder is running. It sounds like a fuel starvation issue,...

I assume you are talking about a personal water craft. It is very common for a little bit of moisture in the carburetor to cause this to happen. There is a small fuel needle that is attached to a teeter/totter and is operated by a diaphragm . Often moisture will cause a small amount of corrosion to form on the needle and cause it to bind just enough that you do not get enough fuel when accelerating. If there is enough room in the motor compartment you may be able to take off the cover and clean the effected part of the carburetor with out having to remove the whole assembly. Be sure to lay a clean sheet around the base of the carburetor just in case you drop a part so you do not have to try and find it under the motor plate.

I have a 1999 yamaha waverunner xl760. after running for about 20 to 30 min it looses power at full throtle when i let go a little of it, it picks up, what can it be. please help

Open your electronics box and check to make sure it is dry. If wet leave it open over night to dry it out and reseal the cover when all the moisture is gone. Also , take the carburetor apart and clean it. Look for corrosion on the teeter totter needle assembly and clean it or replace as necessary. A little bit of white corrosion on the needle can cause running issues.

Villaware mornin toaster 5555-11 When you put the

When you push the slide down on the side, there's a wire that it pushes down inside the toaster. If the wire gets bent down a bit, pushing the slide down doesn't push the wire down enough. The wire is like a teeter totter. When it gets pushed down, it closes the circuit which turns the toaster on. The reason why the slide doesn't stay down is without energy, the electromagnet doesn't get engaged. That's what keeps the slide down. You need to remove the 4 screws on the bottom, and the 2 screws that hold the legs on that also hold the side on with the slide. Once the side is off, take a pair of needle nose pliers and bend the wire up a bit that acts as the teeter totter.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER ON MY 2002 GMC YUKON XL I AM HAVING TROUBLE DISCONNECTING THE HOSE END

First - Safety is always the key to working with fuel:
1) Remove from the area of work anything that could ignite the fuel, 'High intensity shop lights, no smoking'
2) Work with a flash light or directional battery operated light if its dark.

Two tools to have in my opinion -
1) Pliers
2) Needle nose

1st - use the pliers to spin/break the hose end loose over the In and out flang of the fuel filter.

2nd - If you have a needle nose pliers which have a very narrow nose end.
Place the nose end all the way at the hose end that's over the fuel filter's intake/output flange.
You then can leverage the hose off by forcing the body of the needle nose up against the body of the filter.
Just like a teeter totter where the body of the filter becomes the /\ fulcrum of the teeter totter.
Hope this makes sense?
Blessings,
A/V Media Guy

My wave runner turns over and the batteri is new, and i have spark to the spark plugs but it still will not start. gas, oil, choke, batteri, and gas switch is all good. any help?

There is a needle inside the carburetor that is attached to a diaphragm by a teeter totter. It is in the lower corner of the cover. Water can collect in that corner or the carburetor and cause the needle/seat assembly to corrode. Take the carburetor top off and clean the white corrosion out the needle assembly and the gas should flow to the engine again.

My fax 2060p reads close cover/cart i change the ink, open and shut covers help!!!!!

This is a known issue,
Open the cover where the cartridge is located. Above the cartridge on the white plastic you wil notice three vertical slots. These are interlock slots. If you look at the door you will see projections that marry up to these slots.
The slot to the farthest left is the issue. There is a switch on a teeter totter that is suppose to return to the the up position. If you look into the slot you should see a white piece of plastic going across the opening horizontally.
Don't see it? Give the plastic case above the slot a smart whack with you open hand( easy now it doesn't take much). If the wihite plastic appears inside you're all set. close the cover and get back to work. If not you mght need to take the next step and remove the top cove to see if the tetter totter has disengaged from it's pedestal. Good luck. By the way if the probelm keeps comeing back you might try super glueing a washer onto the teeter totter to provide a little more .wieght
