Question about Radio Shack Pro-2096 Base Scanner
My 2096 has no more receive
i think it was cause by myself with having my yaesu ft-7900r too close when talking i usually shut the scanner off when using my yaesu but i forgot a few times and now it wont receive anything
im looking for any help with this or a schematic of the scanner..i cant seem to find it anywhere
This scanner uses SMT parts and a multi-level board. If RF from your Yeasu cooked it, you have no choice other than to send it in for repair. Unless you have access to SMT equipment and understand you can't repair traces on a circuit board with multiple levels, you are sunk. Send it in for repair. They will shotgun the board and get it back to you.
