Please confirm actual model number and year that are on the back of the set; VS-60111 does not show in the Mitsubishi data base.

I suspect one of two reasons for this--set lost power and needs hard reset or Glycol leak from picture tubes.

Do you now know about problems these sets have with Glycol?

Confirm actual model number on back of set and year and I will be happy to help you.

Vs 60111 Fuzzy picture

Its a very old set and if happens on all inputs and cables have been ruled out something serious--the rear inputs bypass the tuner in the set and based on its age I would not suggest spending major money (if you can find someone willing to work on a set of this age) on this set.

Many parts for this are no longer available.

Read that this is a common problem...I have a VS-60111....when i turn it on it clicks then goes right back off....I used to manage a service department for a place called Conns. Sell appliance and...

You cannot be sure of the problem unless you try the error code operational check. Here are the instructions for doing it
Turn off the tv from the remote and unplug it. Plug it back in . Press and hold the menu and Device/Input buttons on the front panel of the tv for 5 seconds. The LED will blink a certain number of times, pause for half a second followed by another series of blinks. Count the number of blinks before and after the pause so that I can tell you what the problem is.

I just wanted to know how much they go for. Mitsubishi big screen tv hd 1080 series model vs-60111

Probably 1500.00 new, but that's an old set. If your trying to sell it I would ask 350.00 for it, if it works.

Not exactly familiar with this model but sounds like the projector lamp is burned out. Hopefully it's a replaceable type. Try calling these people - http://www.purelandsupply.com

Flashing Tv screen

Turned out to be a problem with my dish receiver. Found out by attaching a separate DVD unit to the TV, and it didn't flash. I then realized everything ran through the dish receiver. Called them, reset ( by unplugging for 90 seconds) and all was well.

VS-60111 turns off on its own after few hours

Did you repair the two leads? Ao check near the Convergence ICs for an open resistor or two, although that shouldn't effect your audio. Yu most likely have a low voltage regulator or bad capacitor. You will probably need the service manual to actually track it down. I will post a link where you can ge one for 12.99 and the include free unlimited support. They will also email it instantly to you if you return to the site and send them an email requesting they email it to you. You sound like you could fx it with the service manual and some guidance. Here is the link.
