I am wondering what the lube and oil change requirements are for my 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The person I bought it from is deceased and I don't have the owner's manual
Same as every other vehicle, you ever owned. Nothing special about the way you should approach preventative vehicle maintenaince. Just set up a schedule of your own and follow it. No one does.

If not reachable from underneath the engine tips forward to change they make a holding tool. Loosen the dog bone engine mounts and lean on the car you'll see the engine move pull it forward with a bar then find something to hold it there. I hope this helps. Take Care.
You can go to a nearby parts store and purchase a Haynes automotive reference guide and it contains all the different diagrams that would need. On the front of the book it would say 1990-94 lumina cutlass etc.
Check the wire from the module to the crank sensor. They go bad. Usually from oil leaks. Is it saturated with oil where it goes under the engine? Also check for power and ground on the two wire plug on the drivers side of the module. It isn't the ecm or anything with it. The ignition system on the 3.1 will work with the ecm unplugged. The ignition system is a stand alone system. It sends signals to the ecm for the fuel injection.
I am having a similar problem, but there is no check engine light. It seems that mine dies at the light or running, if the rpm's drop. I am wondering if the Idle air control valve is bad or possibly the ERG valve?
