Question about Samsung HL-P4667W 46" Rear Projection HDTV
Depending on where you bought the color wheel there is something you should know.
Some of these sets will display this problem when the wheel is replaced. On the DMD board which is the metal box that is part of the light engine where the color wheel is located there is a opening with a small jumper plug.
I have seen it cause this kind of problem but usually it does from the moment you replace the wheel. If you remove the back cover and look at the silver box with lots of little round holes you should be able to see it.
It is a two pin plug with a flat metal piece across the top---if it is there remove it carefully with some small needle nose pliers or a hemostat.
If color returns to normal---you found your trouble. Most places that sell replacement color wheels do not tell you about this or do not know
Let me know if you have questions or if it resolved your problem.
