Question about Frigidaire FDB1502RG Built-in Dishwasher

No power, fuse is not tripped at panel, ideas?

There does not seem to be power running to my Frigidare FDB1504RGCO. I've checked/cycled the fuse at the panel and it is not tripped there. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I was able to determine that the unit is getting power with a current detector. Any idea what a control will cost to buy/place/install?

Under the bottom right corner is the electical tie in connections if you are able to use a voltage meter and can detect if you are getting power to the machine. if you are unable to do this i suggest you call a technician because if you have power going to the machine then you would have a control problem a end up having to replace the control

You can google marcone or allbrands appliance there hrs are m-f 9-5 and i believe allbrands stays open saturdays till 2 make sure you have your model number writen down for the parts person and try allbrands first there a bit less expensive for the customer and they both can mail the control to you directly an outside technician will probably charge you around 120 for labor to install which in my opinion is ridiculous because its an easy fix shop around and when you do tell them you already have the control smaller repair companies tend to be cheaper

Why wont frigidare affinity FAFW4011LWD start after the power went out? No lights come on, nothing.

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you are not receiving power to your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# FAFW4011LWD. I also see that there was a power outage before the symptoms began. I suggest checking the fuses or circuit breaker to make sure that it has not been tripped. If the breaker has not been tripped, I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

My washing machine kkeps tripping my fuse box

This is related to a fault in the main control panel, it is possible there is a short if the fuse keeps tripping off. You need to remove plug and pull out the panel to check for short in the power supply to the main control panel usually a SMPS unit. Use a multimeter to check for short, if so this must be replaced.

I have had my whirlpool dryer about 4yrs + (geq9800pw2) has always worked fine. Last week it started tripping ckt breaker toward the end of drying cycle. As of this morning, it blows ckt breaker...

leave off the oven and a/c breakers and plug dryer and reset the breaker. if not tripping occurs then one at a time trip back the oven first. if no trip then trip off again and trip the a/c. if no trip then trip the oven back. if trip you may have a wire problem. if dryer trip any way then possibly you have a short in dryer. check the heating element wires, power cord at the dryer side(terminal block).

Kenmore washer machine cylce stopped in mid cycle

If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these:

  • No power
  • Lid switch

No power
Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?

Lid switch
If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.
check these, if still the problem persists then let me know for further help.

Faulty Diplomat Dishwasher - tripping mains fuse

Hello,

My dishwasher a diplomat 12 program (hja8640) was doing exactly the same where every now and again when turned on at the plug it would trip. After engineers coming out several times and failing to fix it, they condemed it. New one was supplied, however did exactly the same thing. The electrician came back, checked the RCD power breaker and this was fine. It was then discovered that some dishwashers and washing machines send out a lot of earth leakage, combine this with other appliances on in the house can be enough to trip.

Soloution. The electrician removed the kitchen circut from the RCD breaker and intalled another breaker RCD just for the kitcehn loop, this therefore means that the kitchen has a seperate trip from the rest of the house, and touch wood, has solved the problem. This mind you has taken about three months to work out so i hope it saves you some time.

Always use a fully qualified electrician though.

Thanks.

No power/not responding

Check your breaker first. If your breaker is fine , then remove inner door panel by taking out screws. Next remove cover from control panel, and replace control panel fuse. Write down the make and model # of your dishwasher, then go to appliance store buy new fuse. Then you will know what it looks like. Then you will be able to replace the one in the control panel. Afterwards seal control panel cover with silicone, and reassemble. that should fix your problem, but if not we would be more than happy to assist you further.

Whirlpool Dishwasher acting as if there is no power to it

I had this problem just two days ago. For me it was the thermal fuse. On my dishwasher it is located on the main control board, at the top. It is white and has two wires going into to separate terminals. It says "Microtemp" on it. I used a small wire to short it and see if that was the case. Be careful though. There is also another fuse on the bottom of the dishwasher that looks like a little black cylinder with a silver cap, and two terminals coming out of it for wires. In our case that fuse was fine.
