- Please click HERE to download the user manual of your router which I uploaded for you. Find the file named "p74730uk_f5d7633_man.pdf" on that web page and click the download link below it.
- Open that downloaded ".pdf" file on your computer. (You can also view the manual without downloading. Simply click the view link under the file instead of download.)
- Go to page 21.
- Follow the instructions written there running the setup wizard.
Hope this helps.

WGR61 4 v 10 password reset

Press the reset button on the back of the unit, until the light blinks. This takes about 10 seconds. (to avoid accidental resets, the button is recessed. Use a pen or paperclip to access it).

Release the button and wait for the router to reboot.

The router has now been reset to factory settings.

What is my wep key?

Your WEP key would be the password on your wireless network. If you set up your router hopefully you have it written down or remembered. If you do not you can reset the router and set it up again.

Forgot login password

Overview If you have forgotten your Linksys password, you have a couple of options. You can try to use the default settings to log into the router settings and change your password, or you can simply reset the router and set it up again. Either way, you will need to create a new password to use in the future. Read on to learn what to do about a lost Linksys router password.
Try the Default You can try to log in to the Linksys setup page and create a new router password using the default user name and password. This will only work if you did not change the default password when you originally set up your router.
Open a web browser window, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. Type into the address bar. Do not include any prefixes, such as http:// or www. Press Enter or click Go. A dialog box will open prompting you for a user name and password. Try leaving both fields blank and clicking OK. If this does not give you access, type admin into the User Name box and Password into the Password box. Click OK again. If you succeed, you can configure your router settings again and create a new password. Read the first article in this series, Configuring a Linksys Router Settings, to learn how to do so.
Reset the Router
If you are unable to log in to the Linksys router setup page using the default user name and password, you do have another option to solve your lost Linksys router password problem, which is to reset your router. 3d1cb9ca10deccfc3b6a854cda8b29a7cd240d6d_small.jpg

Look for a small Reset button on the back, front or the bottom of your Linksys router. The location of the button depends on the router model, so look carefully. As a precaution the buttons are small and inconspicuous, so that users do not accidentally reset their routers.
Once you have located the Reset button, press and hold it for at least ten seconds. You may need to use something with a small point, such as the end of a paperclip or a pencil tip to depress the button. Release the button and wait for the router to start back up. This will restore the router to its initial factory settings as it was when you first set it up. You will need to configure it again and choose a new password. Refer to the first article in this series for instructions on how to do so.

I have a belkin f5d723-4 router that i accidentally set as a direct access point. Now i cant access the routers home page. Is there a way to reset the router?

Check on the back for a small hole you can stick a straightened paper clip into.
The "Reset" button is used in rare cases when the Router may function improperly. Resetting the Router will restore the Router's normal operation while maintaining the programmed settings. You can also restore the factory default settings by using the "Reset" button. Use the restore option in instances where you may have forgotten your custom password.
a. Resetting the Router Push and release the "Reset" button. The lights on the Router will momentarily flash. The reset is complete in 60 seconds.
b. Restoring the factory defaults Press and hold the "Reset" button for at least 10 seconds, then release it. The lights on the Router will momentarily flash. The restore is complete in 60 seconds.

Can't get to anymore. why?

You need to find the reset button and press it with a needle head, untill all setting are reset. Power cicle your router and if you are using a modem. Try again. You shouldn't have any orange lights on your router. Now go to your computer, and you will find your wireless rounter name, try to connect to it, and it will ask you for your pin number. You can find the pin in the bottom of the router. After typing the router's pin, it will ask you for the security settings and stuff. Once done, you should be good to go.

I got the router over a year ago - I got a new PC and now - My password does not work any more

It sounds like someone accidentally pressed the reset button on the back of the router. If so try using the login "admin" and the password "password" to log in. If this doesn't work you can reset the router by pressing the reset button and it will restore to the factory default of "admin" and "password" but it will also reset all settings so you may have to set up your router again.
