Question about Brother HL 1440 Laser Printer
This is normally a symptom of the Fuser unit failing within the printer. our company uses nothing but Brother printers and i have seen this error a few times.
on very rare occasions its not the fuser and unplugging the power lead and leaving it for ten minutes will resolve the problem. if you have already tried this however the problem your getting is to-do with the Fuser unit within the printer being broken..
unfortunately from past experiences a replacement fuser unit for one of these laser printers is actually more than the cost of a new laser printer...
a quick google search revealed this site who are offering fuser replacements for $119.00
hope this helps.
