Hi Danny, since you've indicated the plug-in for the machine is "hot" then obviously the breaker is good, soooo. I would start by first going back and shutting off the breaker. Then removing the kick plate ( access panel at the bottom ) and checking the wiring at the junction box for the dishwasher 120vac supply line. This is actually quite common to find a wire connector come loose due to improper fastening and once the unit is in use for a while the connections heat & cool, become loose from normal operating vibrations and burn up from all the added heat caused by "resistance". The end result is no power to the controls. Check it out and post back what you find. Thanks for visiting "fixya" and please take a moment to rate the solution/suggestion provided here for you. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Dedicated 20 amp outlet

Ideally you should run the line straight from the circuit breaker out to your hot tub, but if the line running from your circuit breaker to the box you're using now is 20amp. you can absolutely connected to that. to be up to code it cannot be an open box it needs to be closed After you wire in your 70ft connection. (that's assuming the box that you're using is dedicated already to your hot tub) then the only difference would be is your using extra line and costing you tenths of a penny extra and electricity per hour.

Microwave, kenmore 721.89822, will run when powered, but will not cook, no microwaves

HELLO.

Follow some straightforward troubleshooting steps to make your microwave work like new again.

1 Make sure the door is closed. If the door is not closed tight, the microwave will not function.Sometimes food will get stuck in the door and prevent the latch from working. Use the paper towel to get the food out, then close the door carefully and listen for the latch to click.

2 Check the power sources. First, make sure the microwave is plugged in; the plug may have shifted or slipped partway out of the socket. If it is plugged in and still does not work, voltage test the outlet the microwave is plugged into. If you are not getting a reading, the breaker is probably blown. Reset the breaker for that outlet in your home's circuit breaker box.

3 Reset the microwave breaker. Take the back cover of the microwave off with a screwdriver. Inside you will find a motor. Most microwave motors have a small red reset button on them. Hit that button. Your microwave should work again if the breaker was the issue.

Thanks.

Dryer interior light and motor will not turn on

plug something else into the wall outlet to make sure you're getting power there and try changing the bulb.if there is power check the door switch, move the paddle in and out and you should hear a clicking sound,if you don't change out the door switch, also check the back of the dryer at the block where the power cord connects to the dryer and make sure you have power there.also is there a gfi plug anywhere near the dryer that might have to be reset,i've seen this, also i've come across whoever wired the outlet switched the hot wire and the neutral around so when the machine is plugged in the wiring isn't correct

Washer Stops

• Plug cord into live electrical outlet.
• Check fuse or reset circuit breaker.
• Close door and push the start/pause pad to start the clothes washer. For your safety,
washer will not tumble or spin unless door is closed.
• This may be a pause or soak period in the cycle. Wait briefly and it may start.
Check screens on inlet hoses at the faucets for obstructions. Clean screens periodically.
If the sreens are colged or even a little sirty it will stop the washer!

Hello mdonettaYou said,
Dryer shut off towels were not yet dry, turned dial to restart dryer acts as if it isn't getting power I closed door and pushed start button. Nothing! Checked breakers and power cord at outlet all checked okay. Any ideas.

yes, try unplugging the power cord or turning off the breaker for 5 minutes. Either will due. Some times the system needs to be reset!
If this does not work there are internal fuses that can be replaced!

Let me know how it goes!

AFTER 10 MIN OF TURNING THE HEATER ON OUR POWER OUTLET TURNS OFF WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

Not knowing what kind of heater this is, I will assume that you are referring to a small plug in 110 volt room heater since you mention power outlet. Check the amp rating of your heater verses the breaker. Remember if it is a wall plug that there are other plugs on the same breaker. Breakers work two ways, as an over current (amps) and thermal protection (heat). It could range from too close of a current draw for the breaker and heating it up or a loose wiring connection at the breaker or wall plug. Loose could also be the problem for a central unit. After it runs a while place your finger on the front of the breaker to see if it feels hot, it should not get warm
