My LG plasma TV is less than two years old and out of nowhere there are red and green horizontal lines on the picture. Looks horrible. Is there a quick fix or is my TV a goner?

LG 50PK550 Plasma Single Thin Green Vertical Line

It is going to be one of two basic issues:

1. There is a poor connection somewhere in the set--either with a plug or cable or on one of the boards.

2. There is a board that is beginning to fail causing this.

Either would require a shop and may or may not be worth the cause.

Having seen hundreds of these sets all are more prone to flaky problems than the older sets and average life span is 3-5 years.

Shop I work for 80% of them are 2 years old or less.

If problem began shortly after set was moved or relocated I would lean towards a bad connection somewhere.
