Air leaking out the nose indicates that the orings that seal the bulkhead /cylinder spacer (white plastic ring around the cylinder) are leaking. Order oring kit from dewalt and replace all the orings. I dont remember if the kit containes a trigger valve but it needs to be replaced also or at least have a spare ready when the orings in it fail. Dewalt used some vinyl-like orings that failed (vinyl orings were also used in the trigger valve ). Good luck.

I have propulse 2 inch Brad Nailer. Model 57265001. when i press switch just air blow out but no nail or nailing

1. Does it have any nails in it? A) add nails
2. Often when you get down to the last few nails it will quit working. A) add more nails, you may have to discard the remaining nail or three before adding more nails.
3. You may have reached the end of a group of nails and the last nail or 2 are jamed up in the end of the nailer. A) Need to open end of nailer and remove jamed nails. Don't forget to disconnect nailer from compressor first.
4. Other options are not enough air pressure, or the gun is damaged and needs repaired or replaced.
Good luck.

Air noise when using break peddle in a 2002 Hyundai accent

The fluid leaking out the rear seal of the master cylinder has likely swelled/damaged the rubber diaphragm in your brake booster, causing the hissing sound. Unfortunately, you will need to replace your booster.

Wont shoot nail every time pin wont return all the way up

Some reasons the driver/piston assembly won't retract fully:
- damage to the o-ring (LB1003) around the piston
- cylinder (BA0165) is scored badly
- driver (EA0167) is bent, twisted or warped
- o-ring (LB1023) around bottom of cylinder (in groves & covering small holes) is stretched out or out of place.
- Seal (BC0492) at bottom of cylinder & under bumper is damaged or gone

Air bypassing when the trigger is pulled, nail gun will not fire

You will need to get a repair kit for that model and brand nailer. It has a leek in the diaphragm or a bad O-ring.

Porter cable roofing gun

The problem that you describe could be caused by three things. First remove the cylinder and look for a black rubber band around the cylinder about med section. There is an indention with holes where it is supposed to be. The band should fit snuggly so that it does not slip off during use. Secondly, check that the piston oring/plastic ring holds the piston in the cylinder without just dropping under its own weight. Third, the upper bumper could have a crack or missing piece. Remove it and check. (vinyl part in headvalve) Parts are available at dewalt repair center or www.toolpartsdirect.com. enjoy

How to Install Air Compressor and Nail Gun

Set up the pressure on the air compressor. First plug the air compressor in, then check the pressure. It should be between 90 and 110 pounds per square inch (PSI) for home use. If it is not in this range, turn the knob to the left to decrease the pressure and to the right to increase the pressure. Use the appropriate nail gun for the job. For example, to nail shoe molding to base boards, a standard finishing nail gun would be perfect. It holds any size nail between 5/8 inch and 2 inches. This nail gun could be used for many projects with great results. Check the gauge the nail gun takes before purchasing the nails for the gun. If you get the wrong gauge they will not fit in the gun. You can check this by looking at the information printed on the side of the nail gun next to the model number. You can also open the nail chamber for this information. Attach the nail gun to the air compressor. You can do this before or after you load the nails into the gun. Use the air compressor hose to attach to the bottom of the nail gun. It screws on much like the end of a hose. If you do not have the right size air hose, you can find one at your local hardware store.
