Question about Poulan 42-Inch Steel Deck 17.5 HP Briggs & Stratton I/C Engine With 6 Speed
This is usually caused by a stretched belt or a broken or disconnected bracket causing the deck to go out of alignment. Also check to insure your belt guides are in place (usually close to the pulley on the deck) they assist in keeping the belt in the groove, there should be two, close to the pulley.
