ASUS doesn't show any drivers for Win7. It has drivers for Vista 64bit which MAY work for you. Follow the link below for these drivers and choose the Vista 64bit OS.

Realtek hd audio input controller not working

Ensure that your mic is plugged into the correct jack.

Access device manager through control panel. Locate, right-click and uninstall the driver from the list.

Reboot your system and let Windows detect your new hardware. If this doesn't work, it may be that your operating system is recognizing your hardware but installing a generic or wrong driver.

If this is the case, go back to device manager, highlight the driver, but this time right-click and select reinstall driver. Make sure to include the drive and path (using the browse button) of the location of your updated drivers when the installation wizard prompts you to.

I hope this helps.

I not getting sound from my computer,I want to install M2V-MXSE ASUS. can u plz tell me where these sound drivers are available.......

either from the asus website, http://usa.asus.com/index.aspx ,or from Realtec, that is the hardware that asus normally uses on their motherboard. But just go to the asus site and click on the support and it will ask you the model number of the board that's it. You will see if there are any other downloads that came out for your board also. You should keep that link in your favorites. Here is the exact page for your board just download the driver here. thanks and dont forget to rate my answer, I appreciate it, thanks again,Gym

A8S-X no sound with vista

The latest XP drivers should do the job. Uninstall the drivers that you already installed. Unzip the driver files to a temp directory, then instruct the Found New Hardware wizard to search in the temp directory for drivers, or click on Update Driver through Device Manager then point the Wizard to search in the temp directory: SoundMax ADI1986A Audio Driver V5.12.1.5430 for Windows 2000/XP/2003: http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket939/A8S-X/ADI1986A2000XP.zip
