I would check all your switches first to make sure you're getting power to your light/fan. If they're all on, then remove the bottom part of the fan where you would splice the wires - and see if you're getting power. If so, then you could have a bad switch at the fixture. I'd try this first before going any further. Feel free to contact me back if this doesn't work. Best of luck to you! Jim

Hello :

I recommend you to check the PCB [ printed circuit board ] on the fan . The PCB must be burned . The PCB on your fan most look like the picture or something like it . You need to replace the PCB . Such a PCB you can find it on Ebay or you can call the store where you bought your fan from . If the PCB is not burned , then their must be a problem with the house electricity wiring .

Ideas? Yep. Shut down fan power at the source (fuse, breaker, etc.). Turn on fan power again. You should be back in operation

Is there a way to take remote controll off of a fan mine stoped working after kids pulled fan or light pull

My ceiling fan loses remote control every time there is a power outage. The first thing to do is turn off power to the fan at the circuit breaker. Take the battery out of the remote and push all the buttons to eliminate a stuck button as a possible cause. Reinstall the battery. Turn on power to the fan. Check operation. You may have to pull a chain to "reeducate" the remote but you should be back up and running soon.

First replace batteries in remote, go to breaker switch and see if power is going to fan, turn off and turn back on,then try,if it still doesn't work, turn power off at breaker, then remove fan to get to wires and check to see if power isgoing to fan,if it is then fan switch is bad.

Replace batteries in remote,if still not working,go to fuse or breaker box and see if fuse or breaker switch is off or fuse blown,if good there, then it could be a bad switch on fan or remote is bad.If switch is bad, turn power off at box, remove, take to Home Depot or Lowe's and match up.

Directions to reprogram hunter 952g

You need remote control.

Go to your circuit breaker or fuse box, and turn off the power to the fan you will be programming.

  • 2 Turn the fan's remote control over, and remove the battery compartment cover. Take out the remote's 12-volt alkaline battery, and set it aside.
  • 3 Match the DIP switches inside the remote's battery compartment with the DIP switches on the fan's receiver unit.
  • 4 Reinsert the 12-volt alkaline battery into the remote's battery compartment, and replace the battery compartment cover.
  • 5 Go back to your circuit breaker or fuse box, and turn the power to your fan back on.
  • 6 Press the "Hi," "Med" and "Lo" buttons on the remote control in quick succession. Complete this step within 20 seconds of completing Step 5. The remote is now programmed and ready to operate your fan.

Keep poping the breaker on instllation

Check your wiring for short circuits. If you turn the switch on and it pops it may be in the switch box or up in the fan box. Also make sure the fan blades spin freely. A motor overload or short circuit would be the only reason for the breaker tripping immediately.

No power to hunter ceiling fan or light.

It sounds like either the top part of your remote is bad, or you have a bad connection to it. Have someone that is familiar with electricity (that may be you?) check to see if there is power to the ceiling box, and fan's remote that is ususally in the ceiling box, or just under it in the cover. If you have power there, your remote is failing.

    Fan and remote not working

If you haven't already done so, replace the remote's battery with a brand new one . Make sure the replacement battery is NEW AND UNUSED, AND WAS PURCHASED RECENTLY, SO IT IS FRESH. Make sure it is installed properly, making good electrical contact, and the proper polarity is observed. Was the remote dropped, sat on or stepped on? Was a liquid spilled on it? Did your pet chew on it? Are any of the buttons loose or stuck? If the remote seems ok, try removing 120 volt power from the fan by turning off the circuit breaker or fuse an your homes main electrical service box. Wait 30 seconds, then turn 120 volt power for the fan back on. This may reset the speed control in the fan unit. If it does not cure the problem, consult a professional electrician, or replace the fan, whichever is more cost-effective.

wait 30 seconds and turn 120
