My Jura Z6 is having problem. When turned on, it makes a "tic-toc, tic-toc, tic-toc" noise along with a loud humming noise. The display will flash saying "Unit Bin Missing." I have unplugged, turn on/off for over a day now. Problem still pursist. I took a look from top view over the powder bin and see that a brown "lever??" is not retracking back. The empty ground bin does NOT go back in easily coz the brown lever is down/stuck. I tried taking off the screws around the unit, but stop once I got to the odd Jura special oval screws (I don't have the tool). Is there any other way to fix this problem? I believe once I remove the back panel and clean out the grinder and the dispenser it would be fine??? Please advise before I go ahead and spend more money on purchasing the Jura special screw tool to open the back. Jura is charging $300 to fix this problem.... any advise??

Unfortunately the error message 5 indicates that the thermal block and/or thermal sensor and possibly a control board need to be tested, and likely one or more, possibly all, replaced. My recommendation is to send it to Capresso ask what it will cost first. M

How to fix malfunc.8 of the jura impressa s90

Error 8 is a general error for not being in sync. There is a encoder disk that tracks where all the mechanical pieces are during the process. When they are not where they are supposed to be its an Error 8. This can be caused by a jamb, being dirty, faulty sensor... lots of stuff. Probably means your unit needs to be disassembled and cleaned.
The quick way to clear this is pulling the cord out of the wall and wait a few seconds and plug it back it. This will cause everything to reset and usually clears the error... until you can clean it.

I have an Impressa Z5 and it won't **** milk up the tube as either part of the cappucino program or the stand alone milk program. I've checked and nothing in the nozzle is blocked and the plastic pipe...

There are three possible causes to milk not frothing: 1. The frothing tap is blocked: to unblock either use the cappuccino cleaner from Jura, or in 400ml of luke warm water dissolve a teaspoon of vinegar or 1/2 teaspoon of bicarb and run this liquid through the frother until completely finished (or run the cleaning program). The run about 600-800ml of water through the system. While passing the liquid through let the tap rest at froth, and milk setting for 5 seconds at a time. Repeat if necessary. To prevent this in future clean frother after 5 minute of none use. 2. The breathing nozzle is blocked, you can use the Jura Maintenance guide to see how to disassemble and clean and reassemble, but most Juras come with a spare, so replace it. 3. The machine needs to be descaled, since there is lime or scale in it.
