My Kodak EasyShare M320 won't let me upload pictures

I got a Kodak EasyShare M320 for my birthday and it came with a USB cord but when I plug it into my computer to upload stuff, nothing even pops up and it won't even let me turn my camera on. The light just blinks green. Please help!

If you read your manual it will tell you how to transfer photos to your computer. There is a set order to turn the equipment on and to connect it up.

If you do it in the wrong order it will not work. If that does not work then I would suggest a SD to USB card reader. You should be able to find a good and cheap one on ebay or any good electrical outlet.

I hope this helps

Downloading from m320 to computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Search Google for a driver for the specific camera. Or download a copy of Kodak Easyshare. If you already have Easyshare software installed, try re-installing or updating.

A much easier solution is to get a card reader. You plug the memory card in one end and the USB plug into your computer. Either windows explorer offers to open the pics for you or they appear as a removable drive in "my computer". typrice.jpg

My kodak easyshare M320 isn't charging with the USB cord and my camera won't turn on either because there's literally zero battery left.

Possible solutions:
Remember you need to turn the camera on when transferring.
Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.

If all fails please contact KODAK in order to arrange a repair or order a new cable. Remember your USB cable is covered under the same warranty as your camera, so remember your serial number when calling:

There is a certain thing you can buy that has a cord that hooks up to your computer, and then you put your camera in the little holder and it uploads. BUT if you dont want to spend your money on that, yes you need a USB cord to upload. Your camera should have come with A USB cord, manual,CAMERA (:, a software disk, etc.
