Beep codes are unique to each brand of computer:
1 short with 1 long beep = bad bios. Must reload bios from disc.
2 short beeps = general bios failure
for more - do a google search for "v2000 Beep Codes" and go to the link for "bioscentral" - all are listed.
The monitor light is burned and needs to be replaced
The video card slot is fried, the card it self
You can try to get a VGA Cable, connect it from your computer to an external screen, press the "Function Key" + "dual screen key" on your keyboard, if u see the screen then its the monitor lights problem.
Please verify the capacity and how many memory modules you have in the system?
If your system won't turn on and get 2 beeping sounds. It is an issue with your memory (RAM) you may need to reseat the memory card. After reseating the memory card (RAM) and the issue persist and i suggest to check also the warranty of your system from your coomputer manufacturer for part replacement.
do you hear your power on self test beep? check your video card. the monitor has a light on it it should be green if its working. what color is it? check all of your video plugins. It sounds like its booting but without video who knows
3 beeps is the Beep code for "Base 64KB RAM Failure". Lets hope that you are lucky and the problem is your memory. If you have two memory sticks in the computer, then try to take one of them out. Try different combinations such as swapping between the memory slots that are available. If you still getting the same error code, then your motherboard is shot.
