Question about Compaq Presario R3000 Notebook

Compaq pressario r3000

My laptopr wont start up (no windows / screen doesnt come alive). I have tried holding down the power button for 5 secs and the release. Power button lights up but doest get the engine rolling. The origin of the problem may be that a few days ago I had a message on windows start up that it needed to "checkdisk" (through 3 stages), the laptop then worked. I did a disk clean up and all ok. I then did a defrag and the dr defraf analysis said there were a few errors and then during defrag the screen went blank. I now have a computer I try to start up and the screen will only come alive about 1 in 50 times. I'm concerned that my power on- off is having an impact. please help

My iphone is frozen at the apple logo screen and wont power down or sync with itunes. How do I fix this?

Have you tried holding the power button and the home key together. Hold until unit reboots and once apple logo appears, release both buttons. If this doesnt work try this below.

Try launching I Tunes on PC without I phone connected. Then make sure I Phone is switched off. Now hold down the home key (square at bottom of screen) Whilst still holding home key plug in your I Phone usb lead. I Tunes should identify you I Phone after few seconds and prompt " detected I Phone in recovery mode" (or similar) it should then prompt 'yes' or 'no' to do recovery. Select yes and let it start. This should resolve this issue as it did on my 3G version.
If still no luck search FAQ's section on www.apple.com
Hope that works/helps?

Alarm light on and u051 error mx310

Hi

You’ll need to reset your printer to clear the ink counters, after resetting it’ll not display the error code again. Follow this procedure to reset the printer--

1. Power off the printer.
2. Holding the stop/reset button, press and hold power button also. Hold both buttons together for 5 secs.
3. Still holding the power button, release the stop/reset buton, then press the stop/reset button twice.
4. Release power button (the screen should now say 'Service Mode').
5. Wait until the power button lights steady green, then press the stop/reset button three times with a 3 sec space between each press. On the 3rd press the indicator should turn steady orange.
6. Press the power button once, (the orange light should go off).
7. Open the printer and remove both cartridges. Wait for 10 seconds. Replace the cartridges and close printer. Wait for 30 seconds.
8. Press the power button, and wait until printer has shut down.
9. Press power button to power up. The printer will feed one piece of paper, then ask you to set the language.
10. The page counter is now reset.

Please rate the solution & revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Password protected and wont power up and cant connect to itunes

here's how:
1. Turn on your iPod (in my case it would only get as far as displaying the Apple logo
2. Hold the power and home buttons down (the iPod will power off after 10 seconds, but keep holding those buttons down)
3. After the iPod powers off, release the power button (but keep holding the home button down)
4. After a couple more seconds, you should hear that magical “ding dong” that means the iPod is coming back alive, and that Windows has detected it. You may even see a little “New hardware” popup in Windows. It is now safe to release the home button, and your iPod is in DFU mode.
5. Now iTunes will see it as a DFU’ed iPod and should ask you to automatically restore its firmware.
6. iTunes has to download the new firmware, and it takes a while, so go make a sandwich.
