In general, you cannot transfer SIM cards between phones, even when they are unlocked.

My phone says not regesestered on network

Hi i think your mobile is locked by particular provider. So only it didn't accept your t-mobile sim card. If you need unlock your mobile you can visit this site Theunlockarena.com here you can get the code and unlock your mobile easily. To get the code you have to mentioned which country is locked now, network provider and imei number. Then they send unlock code through email . After unlock your mobile you can easily use t-mobile sim card and any other sim card in your mobile.

What can i do if the phone is saying invalidy sim card

If your Nokia X6 16 GB Displays invalid sim card while inserting other Network GSM sim card like MTN ?
It is locked to network. You need to specify which country and network it is locked now.I have bought an Nokia X6 16GB in INDIA but it was locked to Australia Vodafone network .I have unlocked it and now using it in USA AT&T network sim card.So you can unlock your Nokia X6 16GB from current network lock using the unlock code from the site Onlinegsmunlock.com after unlock it use with MTN network sim card or any GSM pay as you go sim card it will not display invalid sim card message.

Nokia 5800 xpressmusic. i just recived this new phone from a friend because he bought a new phone. i put my sim-card in it it asks me for my simcard code. it accepts the simcard code but than it says...

I'm assuming your both on the same network? If your both tmobile customers or AT&T it should work without problems.

If not. The phone needs to be unlocked. to be used with another sim card from a different company.
And to do that. Your friend can call his carrier he bought the phone from, request an unlock code, then unlock it that way, and you'll be able to use it just fine.

Only if your on either Tmobile or AT&T. No other sim cards will work.

I have a G1 but i forgot my pattern so i reset it ; i went to tmobile to buy a sim card but they told me i cant use prepaid , ive looked up how to unlock a G1 and every website saids i need the code to...

No you dont need to buy an unlock code if you simply forgot your password code, all you must do is do a hard reset on the phone. and yes you can use it prepaid or with whatever plan you want, all you do is insert your tmobile sim card, i have a flex account with tmobile and i just inserted the sim card, You dont have to contact tmobile.

Hold the Home and Power keys down at same time for about 25 seconds. You will see a yellow triangle screen with exclamation point in the middle. Now to wipe the device clean:

Press Alt+L. Press Alt+W for a factory reset.
Press the Home and Back keys again for about 25 seconds.
The device should then reset again and the hard reset is complete.

Unlocked verizon blackberry world phone wont work with t-mobile

i believe i had had the same issue.

i unlocked an at&t phone and put in the sim card and it wouldnt work. i called tmobile and the representative told me that they have to register the sim card to their network or something.

so just call tmobile and tell them you got a new phone and want to register it so the sim will work in the unlocked phone.

Unfortunately it will not work. TMobile uses GSM technology while Sprint is on CDMA.

Unlock my blackberry 7290

Like you being with T-mobile, I bought a cingular phone off ebay that wasn't unlock. My sims didn't work either. My network just said call Cingular which is now AT&T and they gave me the MEP code to unlock it. Beware, you need to confirm all of your information from your network before they will help you.
