At first right click on that driver which has an exclamation mark and click on Update Driver Option, which would try to update the driver automatically.

if the above mentioned step does not work, then right click on the driver again and then click on properties, now it would bring a different window.....now look right at the top for a tab which reads as DETAILS.
Click on Details and now in the middle of the screen there would be a drop down which reads as DEVICE ID and below that you would find a vague long alphanumeric letters....you need to copy the entire alphanumeric thind and then paste in the search box of the website mentioned below...

http://www.devid.info/en/

Now click on the GO tab and then it would show us the exact driver require for that device......download it from the Mirror link which does not ask for any money and then install the same.
Restart the computer a couple of times to check the functionality....

Regards
Ken

My computer list the cd-rom but have exclamation points by both units. the error code 41

Hello
A yellow circle with a black explamation point indicated that the device is not funcioning correctly. This is usually resolved by upgrading the firmware/drivers for the device. I went on samsung.com and found the latest for your CD-RW drive and have included the link below.
Please click Firmware in blue on the page and then download the latest. It is reccomended you create a system restore point prior to installing in the unlikely case that the install causes system instability.
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/SM-348B
If that happens you can press F8 as windows boots and select boot into Safe Mode. Then go to control panel, system, device manager, select the device, properties, driver, and hit roll back driver.
Hope this helps Please vote if so :) Have a great day

The yellow exclamation point is telling you there is a problem with the device. First thing to do is uninstall the device using your hardware or device manager. Reboot. Your pc should automatically recognize the device on reboot and install the proper drivers. If not then you will have to go to the Sony website and download & install the drivers manually. If this does not fix the problem then your drive has went bad & will need replaced. Good luck & I hope this helps you out.
