Question about Televison & Video
Ok the best thing you can do is replace the remote www.remotes.com for the factory remote. Now what you can do is take the remote apart where the buttons are clean each tab with some 90 percent alcohol rubbing is fine. Medical grade is better. You can also pay a visit to electronics store and get some PCB board cleaner, give it a couple sprays and let dry and cross your fingers. Most of the time the button's do not make contact because of dirty and debris such as food/water and other body liquids get in between the buttons and cause a "short out" or "false contact"
So you have you two options they both are solutions and ether one of them will work if you follow up with it. Please be kinda if this information is of help press the accept button and leave some feedback. thanks for using fixya.com
