Question about Datacard SP35 Printer
When loading the Datacard 35 Printer from the print server (DPR-1260)
I point the print server to the cd that came with the Datacard SP35 PLus.
Can not find the INF file associated with the printer.

It sounds like the printhead temperature needs to be increased in the print driver. This will enhance the color and density of the ribbon transfer to the card.

SOURCE: Datacard SP35 - High Temperature
If you want to "control" the temperatur on the printhead , you first of all need to install Diagnostic program for your printer.
On the menu go to values.
Find Ymck power, which probably is on 0. and try to adjust to MAX 50 or -50.
Push the : Save current values to power on , button.
The passaword is 42360..

The usb toggle (aka dongle) is probably your license for your ID software. You should still be able to print however just not from your id database software.
A license for Securit ID card software can be purchased from Plastic ID or alternatively if you aren't using Securit software, contact your original suppler.

There is no Driver from Datacard for Mac, windows only, you may possibly be able to use opencard format but SP35 does not support opencard
