Not sure what it is you are asking here, the obvious answer is replace the float valve for whatever this is ( u provided no detailed information on what we are WORKING ON HERE), we have no parts here at fixya, so i suggest u check with a local air conditioner repair shop for the parts you need.

Float adjustment

If there is a flapper, it may not be seating properly and that allows water from the tank to keep leaking into the bowl. Also, if there is a float, it may have a leak that allows water to get inside. The float then is unable to close the fill valve completely. Another possibility is that the fill valve is defective.

Gentron 10000w generator has a leaking carburator

Your carburetor float valve may be stuck open. You'll have to remove the carburetor, remove the sediment bowl at the bottom of the carburetor (where the float is), and check the float. Is it filled with gas? Replace the float if it is. If the float is dry inside, then remove the float and clean the needle valve & seat. (be careful to note how the float pin, linkage, spring, etc. are positioned so you properly reassemble. After cleaning & reassembling, turn the carburetor upside down & try blowing into the gas line connection on the carburetor. You shouldn't be able to blow air. Turn the carburetor right side up & repeat. If you can blow air into the carburetor's gas line connection, the float valve & seat are properly working. Reinstall the carburetor. You should be good to go.

No water getting in

Hi

When the Dishwasher is not filling in, you'll need to check for the water inlet valve, the filter screen and the float switch/assembly. Also check for the float assembly inside the dishwasher. When water is filling your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages.
If these are fine then it's due to Water Inlet Valve. Use a multimeter and check for the continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly.

Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

What causes the cold water in a washer machine to come out real slow?

Hi

This may be either due to blocked inlet hose or low water pressure. If the inlet valve seems to be fine then make sure that the filter screen is clear & clean. If these are fine then it's due to Water Inlet Valve. Use a multimeter and check for the continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. Hope this helps... Please post back with model# if you need more information.

Toilet flushes fine but when the tank has filled it seems like the float ball keeps bobbing up and down letting more water or air into the tank. it will do this 5/6 times then quits. its almost like it is...

The ball float follows the tank water level, and repeated cycles of the float dropping and opening the fill valve would likely reflect a leak in the flush valve. You could try adjusting the float arm downward so that it will respond to a lower water level. Try turning off the supply valve, flushing it and listen for water leaking past the flush valve after it closes. If it does, replace the flapper or adjust the chain.

Hi dear.If you are handy enough, that's what you can check to make a solution for yourself.Goodluck.
Check all hoses, connections and threaded unions for leaks.
Note:
If the leak source has not yet been detected, check the following areas
in the toekick and the drip pan for wear and tear:
Connection between the circulation pump and the sump
Axial face seal of the circulation pump
Connection between the drain pump and the sump
Connection between the salt container and the water intake
Connection between the water intake and the cabinet side wall
 Overflow (e.g., excess foam formation)
Water level between the overflows ( seating of the lower door seal?)
Connection between the cabinet and the salt container
Non-return valve in the sump ( water running back from the drain hose?)
3. Check overflow float switch B8/3 for continuity and correct operation.
4. Carefully dry all electrical components in the drip pan area.
Cause:
Float switch defective.
Remedy:
Replace overflow float switch B8/3.
I hope that helps.Thanks.

My Kenmore All in one does not shut off the water after filling starts. It has even run water into the tub and over filled when not in use. Could it be the mixing valve?

I would suspect a faulty water level switch. This is a diaphragm type device with a small plastic tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level increases, so does the pressure on the air in the plastic tube and when it reaches a certain level it activates the switch to shut off the water. Make sure there is no damage to or obstruction of the plastic tube. The switch can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter and checking continuity. A lack of continuity would indicate a bad switch. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.
