First select the ink menu on front pannelthen enter select the print head replacement then enter carrige moves towards left then stop & message appears open the door then open the door & remove the head lock & remove the printheads during this process no power off

the error code gives :
Carriage failure. The possible cause could be:

The Carriage PCA is not compatible with the rest of the Printer.
The Carriage ASIC has problems initializing.
The +2.5V reference voltage generated in the Carriage PCA is out of range.
One of the Carriage ASIC's cannot be found within the Serial Bus that connects the Electronics Module to the Carriage.
One of the Carriage ASIC's did not respond to the Serial Bus that connects the Electronics Module to the Carriage Assembly.

looks like your Black ink is running out and i think that's why it switches to blue to continune printing

I replaced the belt on my HP DesignJet 500 and I can't get the print heads to align. When I plot a drawing the vertical lines are saw toothed. When I try to align the heads, I get an error message...


You do not state the error message, but the common problem after this type of repair is that the encoder strip is damaged or dirty and the printer track across the page accurately. If you post back the actual error codes I can give you a better idea of what to look for.

it seems there r some air in ur ink tube *** inser the priming heads & done the priming & reinstall the print heads if problem not resolved replace the carridge assembly,,,,,,,,,

Printing is getting jammed in the left corned, then cancells.


Try removing the screws from the back door on the Ink Supply Station (sometimes they catch on the carriage - the printer does not need the screws) Look under the carriage belt to see if there are rubber bits. there should be a second door that allows you to get in there and do it. Or you will find a menu selection to change printhead.

Printheads are available everywhere, you replace them your self. Machine will usually indicate just one bad print head at a time.
