Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. First thing to do is pull the thermostat off and verify correct wire connections to the thermostat The yellow wire goes to Y on the thermostat.

Honeywell Thermostat RTH6350 makes heat run in AC mode after AC runs

Well, if it wasn't doing that before then you more than likely know its in your wiring. Cools down then heats back up sounds like the auto change over is on, and the heat setting is higher than the cool setting?

I have a Duo Therm rooftop AC inb my 2004 General Coach park model trailer. It has a heat/cool thermostat with a slider for t-stat control and hi/low on/auto fan switches. On heat it works fine. ON cool...

Got to be a relay/ contactor that is bad. Tstat is not energizing the relay to bring the compressor on. If you can understand the schematics you need to find where your high voltage stops. If you give direct power to the compressor and it runs then obviously power is not going through relay. Either bad relay or that the relay is not being energized at all by the tstat with low voltage. Good Luck

Amana PGD60C1152E no heat

Your thermostat Function 0170 must be set to "1" for Single Stage Heat/Cool. Function 0180 must be set for "0" for Heating Fan Control. Function 0240 must be set for "5" for the Heating Cycle Rate for your <90% Gas Furnace. If you have already done these steps or if, after doing these steps, you continue to experience a problem, you problem could be with your Gas Furnace. I'm including some links for information on your system and thermostat that include wiring diagrams.

When i moved the switch on my Honeywell Thermostat from cool to heat nothing happens

I have 6 of these thermostats, and none of them work....Honeywell customer service provided no help at all. I think the contacts on the switch become slightly oxidized during the months that you aren't using it, making the contact fail. I can't open these units, so for now I am just switching it on and off about 100 times, to try to clean the contacts. This method has worked for 2 of the 6 units so far.

Hot air does not come on

common color code is as follows:
Terminal Wire Color
R RED
W White
G Green
Y Yellow or Blue

This does not guarantee your thermostat was wired to common color code. Assuming it is a single transformer forced air heating and cooling system the following is likely your problem there should be a RC & a RH termial on your new thermostat incase you need a split sub-base for multiple transformers. My guess is that you are connected to RC, if there is not a wire to RH the heat function will not work. the thermostat should have been supplied with a jumper to connect RC & RH together for single transformer applications. If not any small gage piece of wire will work, if I have assumed incorrectly please give me more info about your system.

Check the drain line. Possibly tripped the float switch because the drain is clogged. Don't leave float switch out, you'll have to vacuum drain clear.
