I have a store and save. That has worked ok for about a year.

The ac adapter has a green flashing light and the store and save has a flashing red light. It is now not being recognised by the computer.

i have tried it in another computer but it is no good.

any ideas is it the power source or the hard drive itself?

-   I have exactly the same problem with my Packard Bell Store & Save USB 2.0 external hard drive. It has worked just fine for more than a year. All of a sudden, non of my computers cann recognizes it as an external drive anymore.-   whilpert

It includes the following:
Beeping noise and flashing LED
Situation When I turn on the Store & Save, it makes a beeping noise and the LED flashes continuously. Details These symptoms indicate that the AC adapter is not providing enough power. Solution The AC adapter will need to be replaced. I hope this helps, Bob
