Unplug and replug the Wii power waiting about 3 minutes or so before plugging it back in. Then try and re-sync the controllers.

I have exactly the same problem as ammcgee What we can do? By ammcgee7 on Apr 20, 2011 My Nyko Wand for Wii will not sync properly. The two bottom lights for stay lit and device won't work at...

1) Open the battery compartment and there should be a small circular red button.

2) Next to the Wii's SD storage area there is a rectangular square button.

3) Hold down the red button on the controller and the red button on the Wii until the light on the controller stops blinking.

Sometimes it can take multiple tries to "sync" the controller with the Wii. Keep trying until the lights stop blinking.

If you hold the SYNC button in the SD Card Slot on the Wii console for too long (10 seconds or longer), all the remotes synced to your Wii will be erased and then you have to sync them and the Balance Board again.

When sychronizing the wii balance board we held the sychronize button down to long and now the wii remote control won't work how do we fix this

1. Insert a Wii Balance Board compatible game disc in the Wii console.

2. Use the Wii Remote to select the Disc Channel from the Wii Menu, then select "Start" to begin the game. Press the A Button to bypass the wrist strap screen.

3. Open the small SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console.

4. Remove the Battery Cover on the bottom of the Wii Balance Board.

5. Press and release the SYNC button on the Wii Balance Board. The blue light on the board will start blinking.

6. Press and release the red SYNC button on the Wii console while the blue light on the board is still blinking.

7. The blue light will stop blinking and stay on steady once the synchronization is complete

Wii fit balance board

You need to sync the balance board with the console. Instructions are in the manual. Sync button for board is in battery compartment and sync button for console is in panel under reset button.

Took a few tries for me, be carefule not to hold sync button on console down for longer than 10 seconds because it will deregister all wii remotes.
