Scroll bar won't work on some e mails

You need to fix IE8 to have it work properly with GMail, by turning off Compatibility View. 1. In IE9, press the Alt key to toggle the main menu bar on first.
2. Then in IE8 or IE9 click Tools and choose Compatibility View Settings
3. Remove google.com from the big text box if it is there (in some versions it may not be.)
4. Uncheck the three checkboxes under the text box - this is very important, or Microsoft will just switch CV back on again next time you start IE.
5. Restart IE.
That should cure all your scrolling problems.
To deal with your sidebar you have three options:
1. Hover your mouse over the section you want to see to expand that part - i.e. mouse up to your labels to have them all drop down, or mouse down to the bottom to see your Chat contacts
2. Grab the bar which divides the two sections and drag it down till you can see all your labels
3. Collapse Chat till you need it by clicking the Chat bubble icon at the bottom of the side bar.

Removed Pup.funM virus now when I go to any program left click will not work.

Hello,

The only thing I can think your problem may be is something in "mouse settings" is wrong, try looking. You may still have a virus--go online to Kaspersky or bit-defender for a free virus removal tool, double check. Did you get the virus using IE8? try using Chrome or Firefox. Microsoft Security Essentials is no longer supported for XP, download a free Antivirus such as Bit-Defender (the best right now).
I hope this helps

I cant unlock my mouse sensor..

If you can't unlock your mouse sensor then follow these instructions down below:
To make your mouse MOVE first you must
1.Put your mouse usb in your laptop in the usb holders
2.After you done, something should pop up a few seconds later near the bottom right hand side, saying usb mouse connected.
Try moving your mouse now.

if doesn't work:
go in the control panel ( you can find that in your window by pressing the window button on your key bored)
3.Then there should be a topic named " Hardware and sound" click the first topic called " view devices and printers"
4. After you clicked that there should be on the top on the page "Devices" and the bottom should be printers and faxes.

5 then you can double click the device to look if right one. DONE!

I hoped this worked! ^-^

Ever since i installed internet explorer 8 my right click dosent work so icant save pictures copy, past etc i tries rebooting ie 8 that didint work and the add ons thing didint work could you please tell...

Access "Control Panel".
Access "Add/Remove Programs".
Uninstall IE8, which will re-install the previous version (IE6? IE7?).
Reboot, and see if the right-mouse-button is now working.

When I type in the webinar address and click

Could be an addon in ie8 that is messing you up. First I would install firefox and try doing the same thing to see if its an internet explorer problem or a windows problem. you could just keep using firefox if ie8 is the issue. I do.

I cannot open any of my hotmail emails. It says

Hi,

You can try setting Internet Explorer 8 to it's default settings. Open IE8 and click on the tools tab on the top right hand side, select internet options, click on the advanced tab and click on reset.
This will reset all the settings of IE8 so if you have any favourites/bookmarks i suggest you back then up.
You will get a warning about resetting IE8, just carry on and reset IE8 and see if you can access hotmail emails.

You may also need to install Adobe flash player and java software too.

Regards.

Right click is not working in IE8

Give this a try...
Go to your start menu / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools and select "Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)".
This will run a session of IE with all of the installed add on features disabled. Try going to a web page and seeing if you have right click ability now.
If you do then it is an addon that is causing the problem.

To find which one is causing it
1. Open a new IE8 window normaly. (Not the No Add-ons method)
go to the Tools Menu in IE8 and select manage addons.
Disable the Addons one by one until the problem goes away. Then renable the other addons that were not causing the problem.

If the problem still exists when you are running in no add-ons mode... try putting your cursor in an edit box in a web page and hitting SHIFT+F10 and see if that brings up the right click menu. (Will tell us of there is something blocking the context menu all together or just the right mouse click)
